ROSALINA QUICKLY DIALED SOPHA'S NUMBER, HER HEART STILL RACING FROM THE ENCOUNTER WITH ELIJAH. As soon as Sophia answered, Rosie blurted out the entire story, from Elijah's cryptic message to his unexpected appearance at the café and the mysterious dinner invitation.
"And he told me to wear something nice!" She exclaimed, her excitement and nerves tangled together like threads in a knot. "What am I supposed to wear? Should I dress up or keep it casual?"

SOPHIA LISTENED PATIENTLY AS ROSALINA UNBURDENED HERSELF, HER EXPRESSION SYMPATHETIC BUT ALSO AMUSED. When Rosalina finally ran out of steam, Sophia let out a thoughtful hum. "Well, first of all, congratualations are in order - it sounds like Elijah is definitely interested!" Sophia teased gently. "Now, about what to wear...hmm. Considering you just started working at the café and you're still settling in, I think dressing up would be a bit much." Sophia paused, collecting her thoughts. "Why don't you aim for something in between? You know, a nice pair of dark jeans, a pretty top, and those boots you just got?"

ROSALINA FELT A MIXTURE OF EMOTIONS SWIRLING INSIDE HER AS SHE CONSIDERED SOPHIA'S ADVICE, HER MIND WHIRLING WITH THOUGHTS OF ELIJAH AND THEIR UPCOMING DATE. "Thank you, Soph," Rosalina replied gratefully. "I really want to see where this goes, but I am also hesitant because of Alex...you know, the story." She took a deep breath, trying to process her conflicted emtions. " Anyway, that outfit sounds perfect, thanks." Rosalina's thoughts were interupted by the sound of her shift ending, signaling that it was almost time to start getting ready for her date.

She quickly gathered her belonging and bid farewell to her coworkers, her mind still reeling with thoughts of Elijah and their impending encounter.
As she stepped out into the afternoon sun, Rosalina couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement mixed with nervousness. What would tonight bring?

AS SOPHIA PULLED UP IN FRONT OF THE CAFÉ, ROSALINA CLIMBED INTO THE PASSENGER SEAT, ALREADY FEELING A SENSE OF RELIEF WASHING OVER HER. During the short drive to their house, Rosalina filled in Sophia in on every detail of her conversation with Elijah. Once they arrived home, Rosalina headed straight into the bathroom, already mentally preparing herself for the task of getting ready. "Hey, Soph?" Rosalina called out as she began rummaging through her makeup bag.
"Do you think I should do casual or glam makeup tonight?"

SOPHIA SMILED KNOWINGLY AS SHE ENTERED THE BATHROOM, SENSING THE MIX OF EXCITEMENT AND HESITATION EMANATING FROM ROSALINA. "Hmm, well, considering you're not sure what to expect from tonight, I'd say go for a happy medium," Sophia suggested, eyeing Rosalina's scattered makeup supplies. "A natural look with a bit of pop, maybe some subtle highlights to enhance your features. That way, you'll feel confident and prepared without looking like you're trying to hard." Sophia's words were accompanied by a reassuring pat on the shoulder, as if to calm Rosalina's jitters.

ROSALINA NODDED THOUGHTFULLY, APPRECIATING SOPHIA'S SOUND ADVICE. With renewed determination, she set to work on crafting a natural yet polished look, carefully selecting products and applying them with precision. As she worked Sophia chatted idly in the background, discussing everything from their favorite TV shows to their weekend plans. The distraction proved helpful, calming Rosalina's nerves and allowing her to focus on the task at hand. Before long, Rosalina was admiring her handiwork in the mirror, feeling pleased with the outcome.

"YOU LOOK STUNNING, ROSIE!" SOPHIA EXCLAIMED, GIVING ROSALINA A THUMBS-UP OF APPROVAL. "It's time to go, You don't want to keep Elijah waiting." Sophia glanced at the clock on the mantle, her expression encouraging. "You got this, Rosie. Just be yourself and have fun."

ROSALINA TOOK A DEEP BREATH, FEELING A MIXTURE OF ANXIETY AND EXCITEMENT COURSING THROUGH HER VEINS. "Thanks for driving me, Soph," Rosalina said gratefully as they made their way to the car. "I'll try and get my own car soon."
