I did as Naldo said, going with Mister Winfrey to meet the realtor and since then I've only been shown things I can't afford. Moving from one building to the next and I couldn't take it anymore.

"Ms Osman," I sighed, looked away from the luxury interior to her fancy dress like she's been paid well to do her job. "All I've been shown are luxury apartments, didn't Reinaldo tell you what prices I'm looking for."

She smiled and answered. "Had Mister Ralph told you he called the bank, yes?"

I nod. "He had, yesterday."

"For whatever place you've chosen, it will be covered under his finances. Though he owns majority of these buildings." She informed and I almost fell from the chair that I'm seated on.

Zayn who wasn't far behind helped me up.

"Thanks Zayn. I... I need to call him. Excuse me." I stressed, taking my purse with me to the other room. Calling his phone in hopes that he's not in a meeting.

Instead it went straight to voicemail so I called Rue who answered my call.

"Hey sis, what's up?" She greeted.

"Do you know if your boss is busy?" I inquired and she laughs. "Why?"

"Rue, he offered to help me get an apartment. I didn't know he would pay for it much less own the buildings. Rue," My tone changed as I started to get emotional." I can't live in a luxury apartment by myself. I've never lived on my own and all this is freaking me out. It's not too late to turn down the offer and go live with Aunty G."

"Oh no, you aren't doing that." She stopped me. "You told me what Paul did yesterday, I don't trust him. Especially if you live with my parents, he'll visit the restaurant and see you working there. Trust me, if he's getting you an apartment it's for your own good. See what you like and take it..."

"But they're all furnished." I cried, since I couldn't hold it in.

"Take whatever you like, we'll figure out what to do with our old ones, and sis?"

"Yes?" I answered.

"This man can or will be your husband one day. Men like him, daddy and Ruben are alike, and the difference between him and Ruben is that I wanted to make a name for myself until I became married and changed my name, which my fiance agreed. Your man sees someone he wants or needs in his life. An I've known him since I've been here. You like him and it's obvious that he likes you too. Sis, dry your tears and choose an apartment. Hurry up and get to your temporary home to shower, throw a pad on and get comfortable. Your period is close."

Laughing a bit, I did what she said before I thanked her. Ending the call to go tell Ms Osman about one of the previous apartment I've went to and loved.

I read through the contract and signed the lease, becoming the new owner with my half of the documents in hand along with my new keys.

It's just surreal that all this is happening, but I'm still thinking it's too good to be true. An my plan to be around Naldo is to know the type of person that he is or if I'm a sacrifice or something.

I really don't trust anybody.

Back at our mini apartment with a much tiny room, being one-forth the size of my new one, I grabbed my things so I can go take a shower and do what Rue said. For my underwear has spotting that proves she's right.

I took a painkiller right after, reading the Bible until I fell asleep.

Waking up to missed calls, messages and a knock on the door. I went to the door first, peeking through the hole where I see Zayn standing, so I opened it up.

"Hi zyan." I yawned.

"Miss Moore. Boss sent this for you." He passes me a gift basket so I thanked him and got a chair for him to sit on. "I can stand."

"And I can sing." I smiled, holding out for him to take. "It's getting heavy for my skinny arms to..."

"Hey there." A tired voice greeted, and I looked to see Paul jogging over.

"Hey." My voice lower as did my smile.

Zayn took the chair from my hand, but stood straight for Reinaldo had told him to secure from inside the building, and that's why he and Caleb will be doing until the move.

Paul look at him the pointed. "I saw him lurking around the place for some days now. Is he bothering you?"

"Nope, he's here for me so don't worry." I told him, looking back at the sound of my phone ringing. "I have to go, goodbye Paul.'

I barely heard what he said because I closed the door, going for my phone to answer the call.

"Good afternoon." I yawned, till tears came to my eyes.

"Good afternoon to you too. How are you feeling?" Reinaldo inquired.

That question had the aches and pain in my body coming forward so I could point then out.

"Like a tractor had ran over me." I groaned, fixing the bonnet on my head. "I'm fine."

He chuckles. "You're not fine, love."

"How did you know I'm feeling off?" I pointed out, curious about everything as I stared at the gift basket having pads, chocolate, ice-cream and all the nice stuff. "How did you know that I'm on my Period?"

"I'm sorry I couldn't pick up your calls today, I had a lot of important meetings back to back, but your cousin was in one so I gave her the go-ahead to answer you call when I couldn't. She told me what happened, after I begged her to, so I told her to tell me the things you liked so I added them to a list with the brand pads I saw in your bathroom the last time I visited. Is everything to your liking?"

My eyes were filled with tears when he was finished speaking.

"It's beautiful. Thank you." I sniffled.

"You deserve it and more, but don't cry, love."

"I can't help it, it just keeps happening, but why do you keep treating me so? Why all the luxurious apartments on the top floors, knowing I can't afford it?" I cried, searching around for the tissues box.

"You deserve it and more." He says and I can tell that he's smiling. "My fiance-to-be deserves to see what I can do for her when she comes my wife."

"¿Qué¿ Esposa¡" I heard rather loudly from a female.

"Mama, Yo soy hablo en el teléfono." He sighted, while I'm on here enjoying his voice and accent while speaking Spanish.

"What is her name? Where does she live? What language does she speak? Have you proposed without letting your familia?" Her tone raised higher with every question.

"Yes Naldo, have you proposed without telling your family?" I teased, and that made him laugh.

"Brown snow, I'll speak with you later for trouble has arrived." He says then gasped. "Mama, please don't throw your shoe at my head."

I heard it bring thrown.

"You see why you haven't met her. You'll scare her." He teased, but another shoe was thrown before the call ended.

I smiled and took up the tissue box before I grabbed a chocolate from the basket, getting comfortable to resume the scripture as well.

The thought of Paul getting a little too friendly has been forgotten.
