Nayantara's POV
"Make sure everything is according to Taisa's preference, there should not be any mistakes, and the food should be perfect."
I instructed the attendees, and moved out of the kitchen area.
Today, an important guest was coming in our kingdom. And according to Taisa all the things should be perfect because the important guest was none other than her only son Karanveer Pratap Singh, the crowned prince of Vijaygarh.
Taisa did not like me, but still she ordered me that it was my responsibility as a soon to be queen to make sure his son had no problem living here for the time being. After all he was coming to Rajgarh after three years.
I wondered why he never came to Rajgarh for even once in these years.
As I was going towards my chamber to get ready, I looked at Kashmira coming in my direction.
I frowned when she came in front of me. By looking at her she was not looking fine, her hairs were messy, cheeks flushed and she was breathing heavily.
"What happen to you?"
I asked looking at her up and down. Her eyes widened a little before she looked away and replied,
"No.. Nothing, I was just coming to you."
She stuttered, I looked at her suspiciously. She was obviously hiding something from me. I had known her since childhood and it was not hard for me to detect that she was lying.
"Are you okay? You rarely talk to me nowdays and is lost in your own thoughts. Is something bothering you?"
I asked her worriedly, she was my only friend with whom I could talk anything. I did not want her to face any kind of problem here, she was my responsibility till the time she was in Rajgarh, away from her parents.
"I am perfectly fine, Nayantara. Do not worry about me, hmm."
She said holding my both hands and looked at me with a beautiful smile. I nodded, still not satisfied with her answer.
"Now you go and get ready, I will take care of everything here."
She said, I nodded and moved towards my chamber.
After I was done getting ready, I looked into the mirror. I was looking beautiful, I was wearing a magenta coloured lehenga with matching bangles, adorned with heavy gold jewelleries.
An attendee's voice caught my attention and she told me that the important guest had arrived. I immediately turned around and started moving out of the chamber.
As I came near the palace's gate, I looked at everyone present there. Maasa was standing beside jiji as they were engaged in some discussion. Anirudh and Abhimanyu were talking with few officials. But what shocked me more was Taisa who always looked grumpy was beaming with happiness today while standing beside Tausa. And why not? her only son was coming today. She would meet him after two months.
"Come here Nayantara, why are you standing there."
Jiji said, while looking at me and I nodded moving towards her.
After some time we all looked at front when the crowned prince arrived. He got off from his horse and started coming towards us. As soon as he came, Taisa hugged him while shadding tears.
After few moments, the mother and son moment came to an end as they parted. Taisa came and stood beside maasa while jiji did his arti.
It was looking like he was coming from a war, by the way we were welcoming him but it was just a formality because he was coming after three years.
