Life's getting dimmer, bleary, heavy. Who will you lean on?
As the sun shines and illuminates everything brightly, in a glimpse, the sky will be darker and dimmer, just like how our life evolves.
There is overflowing happiness, but in the blink of an eye, tears will stream down your face like a falls that doesn't stop.
Why can't joy just live with us? Why can't sadness just leave? Why can't fear and anger vanish? Why can't we just be happy for the rest of our lives? Oh, maybe it's for the thrill or for us to be stronger?
We can be happy, maybe just for a little moment because problems will always attack whenever and however they can. And in those times, when the world betrays you, when the person whom you trusted breaks you, who will you lean on? Who's willing to wrap their arms around you and wipe your unending tears? Who will you run to, to share your problems and to rant to? WHO?
If our pillow could just talk and give us advice to help us overcome those challenges, or if there were a person whom you trust to comfort you—if and only if. Sadly, when that time or moment comes when you badly need them, there's no one. NO ONE. BUT THERE'S ONE WHO'S WILLING TO HUG YOU AND LET YOU CAST YOUR WORRIES AND BURDENS, IT'S HIM.
With powerful prayer, things will change. With meaningful Bible verses, weighty feelings ease. With Him being the ONE in the word "no one," life will be better and best, emotions will be carefree and untroubled, and tears will turn into triumph and exhilaration.
And with that, in a room full of darkness, He'll be the ray of light to remind you that when life gets dimmer, bleary, and heavy—"I'll be with you always, even unto the end of the world."
Who will you lean on? It's Him.
author's note:
Take a deep breath, my lovely eagles! Even if problems drown us and when you think everyone has left you, read this Bible verse: "Matthew 28:20".
