Brandi POV:
It's just another day at school, go to home room, first period and the rest is a blur. After school is go to work at the local McDonald's, get yelled at from my boss but I still try to stay as long as possible. Why because after that I go home to my abusive boyfriend, josh. But eventually my shift ends and it's time to go home. As I drive home I get scared, why because I don't know what's gonna happen. But when I go inside I realize josh isn't here yet. I breathe out in relief. I checked my email again, there was a message from my brother
"Hey Brandi how is it in England??? It's awesome here in Canada! I'm having a blast. I'm gonna visit soon, pumpkin. Love ya ~Cas"
*************
*5 hours later*
"Please josh, please stop. Get away from me" I whimper, backing away from josh.
"WHY SHOULD I? YOUR CHEATING ON ME YOU NASTY WHORE!!" He says as he slaps me across my face. I could smell the alcohol in his breath. He's been out drinking, again.
"I'm not cheating on you!" I cry as I feel the tears streaming down my face.
"THEN WHAT THE F**K IS THIS?!" He yells as he holds my phone.
"That's my brother josh, my brother! You idiot." The second I said it I knew I buried myself.
"WHAT DID YOU CALL ME!? YOU LITTLE BITCH!" Another slap. I crumple to the floor and cry out.
"Josh stop, you're drunk." I say as he pins me to the floor. "Josh please!- *kick* -STOP!" *kick* the doorbell rings. He stops.
"Your lucky bran, you know the drill." He says as I go to get some ice and give it to him.
It was my bff lily "Hey lily Brandi just got caught by that gang again, she can't go out today." What a lier but I have to go with it.
"Josh,- I yell - Josh come over here."
"Coming babe, sorry lily I have to go talk to you tomorrow." He says. "But-
And he shut the door.
"Good job princess, you did great." He slurs the second he finishes he passes out.
You know when he's asleep he looks like the Josh I loved.

*1 hour later*
i decided to go on a walk to get get my mind off things. I left a note that said "Going on a walk be back in an hour ~Brandi"
As I leave he stirs so I rush out the door. In my hurry to get as far away from the house as possible I ran straight into someone.
"Terribly sorry love." I look up to see the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen. He lends me a hand up.
"It's, it's fine" I stammer
"I'm Louis" he says in that amazing British accent.
"BRANDI, Brandi is that you babe." Crap it's Josh, he beat me up over a email from my brother who knows what he's gonna do if he sees me.
"I'm Brandi, I gotta go. Thank you for helping me up" I must have looked scared.
"Brandi, what's going on are you ok?" He asks concerned.
"I'm fine. Thanks again Louis." I take one last look at Louis and I run back to Josh. He engulfed me in his arms for show as he whispers "Don't go running off again princess or you know what's gonna happen."
