darkness. surrounding me again. suddenly a small flying dot appeared. it seemed to be blinking. it was moving forward to me. getting bigger and bigger the closer it got. it lurch forward and exploded. everything around me turned white. "im sorry, i have to go." i heard my moms voice faintly. she sounded as if she was on the phone. then i was in my house. i could see through the kitchen door. she was using our house phone. holding it so tight and close to her face it looked like it was going to burst. "i know I can't just leave the kids but mom, you need to understand. i have to go. i have to go find him. i cant let him leave again." our father had just left us for the second time and i guess she was hoping to look for him again. "mom, i know. if you really cared for me and my kids, you would come in the morning to take care of them. i don't want them waking up with no one there. if you're not in the house by 7 im leaving. whether i say goodbye or not. this is important."
