—The sun was set directly above the camp, the heat radiating off everyone's skin perfectly. The sun was a perfect temperature for the survivors. Jupiter, her mother and her little brother were all staying on top of a small cliff, over a small road, with some tents. Jupiters mother, Lori Grimes had helped some others who were now staying at the camp with them. It was a peaceful area, just the soft sounds of birds and sometimes Jupiter would spot some deers, but very rarely because half the time they get eaten by the walkers.

Before the world had finally decided to collapse onto itself, Jupiter would be worrying about things a normal teenage girl would worry about like for example, her appearance, her love life, school, and many others that would worry a teenage girl living in her perfect but complicated life, but after this awful virus began to spread, her life had completely changed.

The things she would be worrying about now was if she was going to survive the next day and the next and the next... you get the jest. But, all she knew was that she couldn't be negative about it all. Yeah, the world was completely destroyed and will never be the same again, but that doesn't mean her life was completely over.

Ever since the news about her father had been released, that's when her life literally ended and came to a halt. She didn't want to believe the awful news that her father was dead, her father couldn't die, he was immortal—well, that's what she thought when she was a little girl, he told her that.

He promised her.

Her eyes were set on her little brother who was currently by the small lake by the survival camp with Shane, Jupiters father's best friend since like school. Jupiter was currently helping her mother hang some clean clothes up on the small piece of string to help them dry properly through the strong wind, that's when she heard the sound of rustling in the bushes by her left. Her head turns around by the direction of the unknown sound, her eyebrows raising in confusion and curiosity.

Jupiter then turned to her mother, keeping her eyebrows raised. Her mother, sensing her confusion, decided to go have a careful look cautiously. Her mother's steps were quiet and slow, just in case it was a walker or someone trying to invade their camp. Jupiter watched her mother then abruptly stop as if she finally found the reason to the sound. She quickly jogged over to her mother, staying behind her just to be safe.

A small bush of brunette hair then popped out from the green bushes and a tall figure stood up. It was a boy, he was dirty, very dirty—as if he hadn't had a proper shower in days, like the rest of them. Jupiter couldn't remember the last time she had a nice shower with her special shampoos she left in her old house. The boy looked confused just like Jupiter and her mother, his eyes seemed to travel over the camp and Jupiter could have sworn she saw a look of relief wash over his face at the sight.

Lori slowly took a step towards the confused and dirty boy carefully. His hair was all disheveled and frizzy, it was a beautiful chestnut colour the same colour as his beautiful eyes and there was small stubbles on his chin, indicating that there was a small beard growing from not shaving. He was definitely very muscular because the sleeves on his shirt were nearly at the point of ripping, probably because the shirt was too small for him.

Lori looked as if she was about to speak and comfort the boy but she didn't get the chance too because Shane then came up behind them both with a large weapon in his arms. He quickly grabbed a hold of Lori and Jupiter, pulling the two of them back out of the boys reach. Shane quickly raised his weapon up towards the clearly frightened and confused boy who now has his hands up in the air in surrender and Jupiter could see how the boy shook slightly.
