LATE IN THE afternoon, Cece silently walked the streets of her hometown with her phone to her ear, a bit curious as to where she was going, almost like she was unknown to where she grew up.
She had only left home about an hour ago, on the way to her friends' drug dealer. The ebony head wore sweatpants, a tight tee-shirt and some Nikes, since she thought the trip would be short.
Obviously being mistaken, she allowed her friend to guide her in the direction of the dealer. Though she only agreed to do so since her friend was in a sad mood and wanted to smoke something.
It was clear Cece didn't know where she was going, she was clueless as a rock when it came down to literally everything that wasn't in books. But that didn't stop her from wanting to cheer her friend up.
"Ok, I'm standing across the street from the gas station. Where do I go now?" She spoke in her soft and low tone, glancing at the store across from her.
"Well, go there. If you see a guy with a red beard act cool okay? He's really down to earth, sorta like you but less dead." Destiny nod as if her friend could see her.
