______________________________________Samar's pov:
As we all turned back, I saw Devyani Bhabhi standing there with a confused expression on her face.
"Did I miss something here?" she asked as she started walking toward us.
"Oh thank god Bhabhi! You are here."
"Sambhalo apne pati ko, baawle ho gaye hai. Pata nahi kya kya bole jaa rhe hai," I said, pointing dramatically at Dev bhai.
(Oh thank god, Bhabhi! You're here. Control your husband; he's gone mad. I don't know what all he's saying.)
Bhabhi raised an eyebrow and looked at Dev bhai with a mix of amusement and exasperation.
"Dev, what have you done now?" She asked.
Dev bhai, always quick to play the victim, threw his hands up in mock innocence.
"Me? I was just trying to help Samar face the truth. Apparently, it's too much for him to handle," he said.
"Yeah, handle the truth? More like handle the roast!" I retorted.
"Hey!" he protested, "I was just enjoying the show, while eating popcorn, sitting in my front row seat, nothing else."
"And, besides, I'm not the one who's been caught red-handed," he replied.
I groaned.
"Caught red-handed? You're the one who's been throwing fuel on the fire. If you get the chance, next, you'll be selling tickets for this show, don't you?" I asked.
"Maybe I will," he replied, winking at me. "I mean, why not? I've already got the popcorn and the front-row seat. Might as well make a profit!" he added.
I rolled my eyes, unable to keep a straight face.
"Yeah, I'm sure you'd love that. 'The Dev bhai comedy show', coming soon to a theater near you," I replied.
Kashish and Jay, who had been enjoying the spectacle, burst into laughter.
"Yes! And we will be the first one to buy tickets for the show," Kashish said between her giggles.
I sighed dramatically, "Great, jus great!"
Bhabhi shook her head, her lips twitching into a smile.
"Well, it looks like I've walked into the middle of a full-blown entertainment show. What did I miss?" she said.
"Oh, Bhabhi, you missed all the fun," Jay said, chuckling.
"Yes, Bhabhi, you missed all the fun. And also seeing Samar bhai getting all flushed and red like a tomato," Kashish added.
In return, Bhabhi raised her eyebrow, looking at me as if asking if what they were saying was true or not.
"And you missed the confession part too, biwi," Dev bhai said, and Bhabhi's face showed a confused expression.
"Confession?" she asked, puzzled.
"Yes, Bhabhi, confession. In which Samar bhai accepted that he likes Shidd-... oops, I mean Yagyhavi."
"Samar bhai accepted that he likes Yagyhavi," Kashish said again, and I rolled my eyes at her.
"This is not what I said, Kashi," I replied, feeling exasperated.
