Mingi retrieved the item, inserted it into the keyhole, and turned it, opening the gate and passing through. He forgot to close it again out of panic, but that was not a problem. The bright blue sky and cool air greeted them warmly. Unfortunately, Yunho didn’t have time to admire and enjoy the place because his tormented mind was too occupied with the excruciating pain in the lower part of his body.

He threw Yunho’s body into the lake, creating a big splash. The son of Poseidon’s body was no longer visible, swallowed by the water. The lake was soon tainted with red, as if a human had been torn apart by a shark.

The surface of the water suddenly calmed, showing no signs of waves, making Mingi panic immediately.

"Yunho?!"

He saw a beam of light coming from beneath the lake, but the water’s surface remained undisturbed.

"Yunho, answer me!"

Tears of worry streamed down Mingi’s cheeks, creating trails on his face. He couldn’t let this happen, so he plunged into the lake to retrieve Yunho.

He swam, diving into the lake searching for his lover’s body. He was sure he had reached the spot where he had thrown Yunho, but he couldn’t find him. However, he wouldn’t give up, so he dived deeper. Then he saw a merman swimming towards him. A man with a fish-like lower body with beautiful, shimmering blue fins. His hair was blue, and his face looked familiar to Mingi.

Yunho’s hands reached out to Mingi, bringing their faces close. He placed a gentle kiss on Mingi’s lips. Closing his eyes slowly, the son of Hades savored the moment, accepting the touch based on true love.

The two grandsons of Chronus and Rhea emerged from the water. Mingi came up fully, while Yunho extended his tail into the water. He was still comfortable in his merman form. It had been a while since he had transformed into his true form.

"It worked, Mingi. The water from the lake healed all my wounds and pain."

Yes, Mingi could see that. The four deep, long scratches from the evil spirit’s claws on Yunho’s face, chest, and abdomen had all disappeared. Yunho’s bare face and chest were clean and smooth again. "Thank goodness, you really made me worried!" Mingi hugged Yunho tightly. So strong it felt like the world would end if he let go even a little.

Yunho returned the embrace and patted Mingi’s back. "Hey, I’m fine now. What are you so afraid of?" He dried Mingi’s body with his superpower once the hug was released.

"I was just so afraid of losing you."

Mingi was in a state where he said something that warmed Yunho’s heart. The son of Poseidon always liked it when Mingi did that. This beautiful place was already warm and comfortable, and Mingi’s one sentence made everything perfect.
