"Uy! sev!" Said Geayan, walking up to Sevanna with a smile on her face. The smaller girl whipped her head up from her girl, also smiling at Geayan. "Hello bebe!" she greeted, pocketing her phone and standing up. Hugging the taller girl.
"Hows your day? may nangyari ba?" Geayan asked as she rubbed Sevanna's back to soothe her. "Well, we had a quiz biglaan. Si sir kasi eh," Sevanna sighed. "But nakapasa naman ako, how about you? how's your day din?" She returned the question back to Geayan.
"Well, i'm good din. Pero napagod kasi pabalik balik kami ng mga rooms, layo kasi ng mga nilipatan namin." Geayan replied, breaking from the hug as the two sat down.
There was a bit of akward silence, hanging in the air as Sevanna and Geayan we're just in their own little world. Away from the prying eyes from the students. "Sev." Geayan said, looking at the other girl.
"Hm?"
"What if, hindi ako yung reason na kung bakit ka ngumingiti?"
"what? of course you are! Ikaw naman yung reason."
"well, what if that happens?"
"Edi, we have to accept it."
Geayan nodded at Sevanna's question; she was right anyways. If they ever splitted up in others ways, they'd have to accept it and face the reality.
"Uhm, Geayan, actually..I have something to tell you.." Sevanna's voice was trembling a bit, looking up at Geayan beside her. "Say it, i don't mind."
"Remember when i made that promise na, pareho tayong..Pupunta sa Ateneo, right..?"
"Yes..?"
"I'm going to La Salle."
"WHAT?!" Geayan immediately stood up. Looking at Sevanna in Shock; she felt betrayed. They made a promise that the both of them will finish their studies at ADMU, but the switch of sevanna's plans were shocking.
"This is a joke right?" Geayan asked, crouching down to Sevanna who was covering her face in scrunity. "N-no..I'm so sorry Gea, my parent's didn't want me to go sa ADMU.." Sevanna's voice was sobbing, she was crying by now.
"No, No, No, wag kang umiyak." Geayan hugged her, patting Her back as Sevanna sobbed into Geayan's shoulder, eventually making the girl's uniform sleeve a mess. "It's fine, it's fine. I get it, parent's mo naman nagsabi eh." Geayan tried comforting Sevanna.
"No, it's not Geayan. We made a promise, and masisira lang din." Sevanna sobbed more. "Hindi natin 'to maayos.." she added.
"No, i get it, okay? It's just a stupid promise. We can still chat eachother naman, diba?"
"I'm sorry din Gea, My parent's have to cut my phone off para makapagstudy daw ako ng maayos para makapasa daw ako sa DLSU." Sevanna said, breaking from the hug as she wiped her tears off with the sleeve of her uniform.
While Geayan was a bit dissapointed; in her eyes you could tell. "But..We're still gonna be us..Right?" Sevanna asked. And Geayan Stood up.
"It's better if we split up, Sevanna."
"W-what..? Joke ba 'to, Gea?"
"Continue your dreams."
Geayan turned her heel back, walking away. Sevanna stood up, and tried to catch up. "G-Geayan! teka lang!" She called out, but the girl was already gone. "Geayan.." She broke down, crying loudly and slided down a wall. Curling up in her knees.
"Hey."
Sevanna looked up, to see Hayden; one of her classmates.
"H-hayden, a-ano ginagawa mo dito..?" She stood up, wiping her tears.
"Uhm, narinig lang kita."
"Oh, maingay ba ako? sorry.." Sevanna looked up at Hayden, with puffy and red eyes; from crying her eyes out because of Geayan.
"Ah, no naman. Actually uh, nakita kita with Geayan kanina. I'm guessing you guys..?" He made a broken heart with his hands.
"Ah, oo 'yun." She nodded. "So, what happend, bakit kayo nag-split up?" Hayden offered to sit back down, as they did sit back down the cold floor.
Sevanna exhaled deeply, "Well.."

It's been almost years, i've graduated highschool. And eventually started to forget everything that's happend in my teenage years. I've passed DLSU, and became the campuses Heartthrob in less than 2 months. Great.
I've been always thinking about our memories, it's been haunting me after that. I felt— a bit betrayed on how she just, left without emotion. That was the first thing that scarred me into a relationship, Especially a girl like Geayan.
I never knew she could be that emotionless, after every memory we made. It seemed like almost nothing to her when it happend. Everything must've clicked; she probably realized i wasn't meant for her.

"Heyy!" Geayan greeted, sitting next to Sevanna with a Smile. Sevanna hadn't knew this was Geayan's time to confess to her. "Hey!" Sevanna replied back, turning to the girl to face her fully. " What's this about? May problems ka ba?" She asked.
"Wala wala, i just wanted to talk to you about something." Geayan smiled. "Well then, spill it out. I'm all ears for you."
Geayan took a deep inhale, looking at Sevanna in the eyes seriously. "Sev.."
"I'm madly inlove with you, Sev. Natotorete ako sayo."
"What..? Gea, is this real? Totoo?"
"Yes, Sev. For maybe, 2 and a half months...?" Geayan smiled akwardly.
"I'm sorry but, i think i need more time to proccess this." Sevanna frowned, and Geayan frowned aswell as she saw the frown on Her face.
"I'll make a promise." Geayan spoke. "Hindi Ako Titigil Hangga't ako na ang dahilan ng 'yong ngiting, Misteryoso."
Sevanna looked back up at Geayan, then smiled at the girl.
"Promise?"
"Promise."
The two linked their pinkys together.

I remembered the promise, Mukhang wala rin naman itong patutunguhan. That was the day she confessed her feelings to me. I still remembered every detail of that, even after...Years and Years. Geayan had been my Misteryoso.

Sevanna has been stressing her school works this week, it's been hell month for the girl. Especially quizzes, assignments, and upcoming exams and report due next week. Currently, it's friday, the day she had time for her reports and reviewing for quizzes and exams.
Currently; She's at the School's garden. Papers and notebooks sprawled out on a outdoor table, and sat down on a chair. Student's have passed by her numerous times— Giving the girl confused and dirty looks, especially boys who were trying to rile her up out in the midst of her Reviewing.
But there was one Mysterious Girl; one with short hair specifically, tall and skinny a bit.
The girl passed by her numerous times, either in a rush or had been holding some books and papers. Must've been the same situation as her.
Then the girl passed by again, This time Sevanna noticed the Girl. And looked up, watching the girl pass by.
Hindi alam, kung bakit ba 'ko nabighani sa iyo.
The Girl, took a small glance back at Sevanna. The two locked eyes, but The girl was the first to break contact, quickly hurrying back to where she was going in a rush. Sevanna was dumbfounded; Mananatili na nga lang ba'ng, isang estranghero?

I hadn't known i was the reason for Geayan's Smiles; and i was..A bit proud for that. I mean who wouldn't be happy and proud for being the reason for someone's smile everyday?

"I'm Sevanna, You?" Sevanna exchanged a hand.
"Geayan, Nice meeting you Sevanna." Geayan took the girl's hand, the two giving a gentle shake then let go after. It was a bit akward— this was their first time meeting, and speaking to eachother.
"So...You have any, specific nicknames or..?" Geayan broke the silence, looking at Sevanna with a raised eyebrow.
"Well, call me Sev or Anna nalang. Your choice."
"Well, Sev i go."
"ikaw? may nicknames ka ba?"
"Hmm..Gea, yan, aya, whatever you want. I'm comfortable with any of those."
"Alright, Gea."
Geayan smiled. And Sevanna returned the smile back.
"Opps, lakas naman ng ngiti mo dyan?" Sevanna teased, chuckling.
"Why?, bawal ba ngumiti?" Geayan chuckled too, looking at Sevanna, inspecting her secretly.
"Lakas lang kasi ng presence ko 'sayo."
Geayan smiled again.
Hindi alam 'kung bakit ba ako nabighani sa 'iyo.
Hindi titigil hangga't ako ang dahilan ng 'yong ngiting, Misteryoso.

I loved Geayan, And Geayan loved me back. We've been eachothers comforters, specifically partners.
But for now, i'll only be able to say to the past memories,
