Here lets start off with the basics.

My name is Gem Hart. It's kind of an original name, but I like it. I'm 17 years old. I go to Mormons High School and I'm in 11th grade. I live with my father. My mother died while I was very young. Ben, my father, is a drunk and is always out at bars or is somewhere sleeping with a woman much younger than him. Well anyway my best friends are Chelsea, Drae, and Alice. I live in a small town in Utah. My town is mostly quiet in the morning, but yet so loud at night. All I hear at night is dogs barking, people yelling, and doors to houses slamming. It's only my house and my neighbor's houses I hear that from though. I wish my mother was still alive. I would live with her somewhere away from here.
