The group made their way to the carriage while Alex and Talia made their way to his car. He claimed he had a surprise for the blonde and refused to tell her what it was.

"Alex, please tell me," Talia begs, staring at the brunette with pleading eyes.

"No can do," Alex replies his mouth twitching up into a smirk as Talia sighs dramatically and flops onto the seat.

Talia smirks, a mischievous glint in her eyes as she speaks "Any way I could convince you?" She hums, her hand slipping onto his thigh as she slowly trails it toward his groin.

Alex's grip tightens on the steering wheel as he shifts in his seat "Don't start something you can't finish," Alex warns the blonde.

"Who says I can't finish?" She hums as she continues her way up, feeling his grow hard beneath her hand.

Alex lets out a soft groan. "If you don't stop, I'm gonna pull over, bend you over, and fuck you on this car," Alex tells her as he starts slowing down.

That idea got Talia excited until she saw someone pass them on the road and realized anyone could pass them while they were fucking; the blonde felt her cheeks heat up at the idea of someone catching them, and she would die.

Talia immediately moved her hand back on her lap and huffed. "Fine, asshat," she grumbled, turning to look out her window.

Alex smirks, but it's quickly erased as he is still painfully hard; he groans as he speeds back up.

——

Alex had Talia put a blindfold on so she wasn't able to see where they were going. He held her hips, guiding her so she didn't bump into anything. He stops her and tells her to stay there; Talia waits, straining her ears to listen; all she can hear is the rustling of plastic and footsteps.

She hears Alex sigh. "Alright, take the blindfold off," he tells her. Talia takes the cloth off her eyes and gasps when she sees Alex holding a bouquet of red wildflowers; behind him is the lake where the lakehouse sits with a canoe tied to a nearby tree branch.

"Alex...what is this?" she questioned as she walked towards him, he placed the bouquet in Talia's hands.

"A little birdie told me you've never been on a date," Alex explains, Talia immediately knew it was Owen. "I know this isn't much, but—"

"No, it's perfect," Talia cuts him off, she wanted to cry. No one had ever put this much effort into something for her.

Alex smiles and takes her hand gently "After you," he hums as he leads her towards the canoe.

Talia can't stop the grin that plasters on her face as she steps into the canoe and sits down, Alex unhooks it from the tree branch and gets in, paddling them further out on the lake.

Talia looked up at all the stars, a smile on her face; it was a full moon tonight, so even in the dark, Alex could see Talia, her facial features defined in the moonlight.

Alex stops rowing, and Talia looks at him. "Didn't take you for a romantic," she grins.

"I wasn't a lot of things, then I met you," Alex tells her, Talia smiles as he takes her hand.

"Talia, you are the most stubborn, wildest, kindest, spontaneous person I've ever met and...I want you to come back to LA with me and be my girlfriend," Alex speaks carefully, scared he'd been too straightforward.

Talia's heart hammers in her chest. She doesn't know what to say; she wants to say yes, but she can't. She'd be leaving her father, her best friend, and everything she'd grown up by. She knew she wouldn't fit in if she moved to Los Angeles. "Alex, I would love to be your girlfriend...but I can't move to LA," she whispers.
