"Sir, his results have once again exceeded our expectations, with each passing day he effortlessly completes his assignments no matter how difficult we make them. I think he's ready to move on to the next stage." A scientist spoke as he read out from the clipboard he was holding.
"He still is yet to reach his full potential, we will move onto the next stage in a few months." His cold voice rang through the small office room, not once did he turn his attention to the person next to him as he continued to observe a young brown haired boy from beyond the one-way glass.
He watched from above as the boy was sat down playing a game of chess against one of the instructors, his golden eyes seemed lifeless and his face was expressionless showing no signs of emotion whatsoever.
Even when he checkmated his opponent in record time his face didn't show any form of happiness or excitement, he simply stood up and made his way to his next task with the same bored look.
"Continue to increase the difficulty." He said whilst signalling the scientist to leave the room.

Stepping onto the bus i began to think back on how i was now free from the White-room. Under the request of my father i was granted temporary freedom under the condition that i had to attend a school known as The Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High-school, a school located in Tokyo established by the Japanese government to nurture young prodigies that will one day support the country by becoming influential political figures or successful business entrepreneurs.
When my father notified me that i would be leaving the White-room to attend a real school i was honestly surprised, I never thought that he would allow his 'Masterpiece' to leave his sight but i was apparently proven wrong.
I would be lying if i didn't say i was curious as to what this school would offer, it boasted a 100% employment and collage entry rate so i wondered about the types of people that would be attending the school with me. My father said that no-one would be capable of challenging me in which he is probably telling the truth, however some part of me wanted him to be wrong but the probability of that happening was almost zero.
"Excuse me, is it okay if i sit here?" A voice broke me from my thoughts causing me to look away from the window.
I saw that the person speaking to me was a girl who had shoulder length beige coloured hair, she had a stunning figure that would be the source of jealousy for many females.
Realizing that i was staring at her i quickly averted my eyes. "Sure, go ahead." I said before redirecting my eyes to the scenery from outside the window.
i hoped that would be the last we would speak for the rest of the ride on the bus but it seems she had other plans.
"I see we have the same uniform, I'm Kushida Kikyo it's nice to meet you." She said with a cheery voice almost like that of a child.
i thought about ignoring her but decided it was best if i at least tried to make acquaintances with someone before my school life would start as it might come in helpful in the future.
"Ayanokoji Kiyotaka, it's nice to meet you as well." i tried putting at least a little emotion into what i was saying but I ultimately failed and it ended up sounding like a robot was talking.
"That's a cool name Ayanokoji-kun. Say, what class are in?" She had a constant smile on her face that would cause most boys to fall in love, her eyes conveyed a since of innocence and purity like that of an angel.
"I'm in class D."
"Really?" She said with a excited voice. "I'm in class D as well, it's nice to know someone else that will be in the same class as me." She didn't seem to notice that she had grabbed my hand and held it in between hers.
Shortly after she finally realised and then released me from her grip, she had a small blush on her cheeks as she apologised for her actions.
"S-sorry, i got a little carried away."
"It's fine." I said dismissing her apology.
Me and Kushida continued to chat for the remainder of the ride and she told me a lot about her middle school and how she was the only one from there who was attending this school so she was happy that she was able to make a friend before arriving.
She also asked me various questions about myself in which i replied with short answers that i had fabricated on the fly.
Around 10 minutes later we finally arrived and the students who were wearing the same uniform as me then began to exit the bus, i followed behind Kushida and once i stepped out i was immediately met with a set of steps that led up to a gate that marked the entrance of the school.
looking around some more i noticed that there were Sakura trees that were placed in rows down the long path leading to the main building. The trees luscious pink colour was appealing to the eye and i couldn't help but stop for a moment to take in the environment around me.
After i was done i saw that Kushida was standing at the gate waiting for me to catch up to her, once i did we both began to make our way to the entrance ceremony together.
"This school looks so big, i can't wait to see what else they have." Kushida said, barely able to contain her excitement for what this school had to offer.
I didn't say anything but i also felt a similar way to Kushida, This school was surprisingly large and despite already knowing that it was government funded i couldn't help but be surprised by how well developed everywhere looked.
As we got closer we were suddenly stopped by a man in suit who looked to be in his 40s. Me and Kushida both stopped in front of him as it looked like he wanted to speak to us, or more specifically me.
"Kiyotaka, it's nice to finally meet you." His voice was calm and he spoke as if he knew me, using my first name which confused me as i was certain i had never met this man before.
That could only mean one thing.
Did my father send someone to look over me?
"Don't worry, whatever you're thinking of right now is false, i'm only here to welcome you into this school." He said trying to dispel the thoughts i had made in my head, he didn't show any signs of lying but i still didn't completely trust what he was saying.
"I see."
Kushida who was standing next to me looked surprised and when she noticed my gaze she whispered to me.
"You know the Chairman?"
So he's the Chairman. In that case what he said is probably true but he obviously has some sort of connection to my father and since he knew who i was he must know of that place as well.
"Oh yes, you wouldn't know me I'm the Chairman of this school, you can call me Sakayanagi." He extended his hand offering me a handshake.
I accepted his gesture and noticed that although his grip wasn't strong it was firm and showed that he held a large amount of power.
"It's best you start making your way to the gymnasium, you don't want to be late." He said before walking off.
We listened to his advice and carried on walking, Kushida began bombarding me with questions like how the Chairman knew me?
"I don't really know, I never met him myself but if i had to guess he probably knows my father." I answered her question to the best of my ability.
"Your family must be pretty big then if the Chairman knows you."
"Not really, it's just like any other family."
Kushida didn't look convinced by what i said but decided to not say anything and we continued on our way to the gymnasium in hopes we wouldn't be late.
