~Chapter 16~
--Gem's POV--
"For what?", I asked.
"For the baby", Ben said.
"Oh okay", I said. I didn't argue I just went along with whatever he said.
I started to grab my keys but Ben said, "No, here I'll drive". He grabbed my keys out of my hand and set them down on the bar table. Then grabbed his keys from the counter. We walked out the door and into Ben's truck. We drove to Dr. Faren's office. We walked inside and were called in quickly. I sat down on the bed. The nurse squeezed the goo on my stomach. Like a lot of people said it was cold. I agree with them it is quite cold. The nurse took the ultra-sound x-ray thingy and brushed it against my stomach.
"Healthy. Would you like to know if it's a boy or a girl?", the nurse asked.
"No I'd like to be surprised", I said.
"Okay well then I guess we're done here", the nurse said. As the ultra-sound pictures were printing.
