❝beat this fucker up❞
(real life..)
꒰ა ☆ ໒꒱
SIGHING, JESS WALKS INTO the library. he would be lying if he said he hasn't felt guilty about what happened with olivia. it's been on his mind non-stop. although, he can't find himself going to her to apologize. but honestly she should apologize first. she supposedly gave him so many signs, he never saw them.
jess honestly found the whole quarrel ridiculous. he made it clear he liked her. he asked her out for god's sakes! and sure, she was right about him never bringing it up again after that vague text about it, but what else was he supposed to do? him asking her out was a spur of the moment kind of thing anyway. don't get him wrong, he does like olivia. a lot actually. he just didn't know how to show her.
if it wasn't already obvious, he's not the best at being in a relationship. scratch that, they weren't even in a relationship. which is one of the main reasons he's kind of pissed. he shouldn't be moping about a girl who he's not even with. but then again, via's not just a girl to him. she's so much more than that.
the boy runs a hand through his hair. he didn't have the energy to do his hair the way he normally does. he turns a corner, walking through the many aisles of books. jess stops in his tracks when he notices one book in particular.
'the fault in our stars.'
olivia's favorite book.
a small frown etches on his lips as he slides the book off the shelf. he hasn't read it in so long, and he only read it because it was the only book in his old house that he hasn't read. jess flips the book over, his eyes scanning over the synopsis on the back cover. he huffs a sigh.
"fuck it." he curses under his breath, placing the book under his arm as he continues to wander the the aisles.

"what the hell happened at the movies? you two just disappeared."
juniper paces around olivia's room, while lane braids liv's hair, lip-syncing to a song that plays softly on her phone.
liv sighs, truly not wanting to talk about the situation. "it's.. complicated." she replies, her tone sounding tired.
the whole argument is stressing, olivia out more than she would like. she barely got a wink of sleep that night. it was kind of pathetic how she waited by her phone all day, hoping he would call to apologize. because there is no way in hell you were catching her say sorry first. he was the one who acted like he didn't give a shit. she was pouring out her feelings to him, and he just brushed it off. it hurt her bad. as much as she would like to tell her best friends what happened, she wants to spare the tears that might come along with it.
juniper stops pacing and stares down at her. "did you guys get into a fight?" she asks, her voice laced with concern.
olivia kisses her teeth, brushing her now braided hair over her shoulder. she slowly brings herself to slowly nod.
"oh." juniper hums, now sitting down next to olivia "we thought you two were sticking each other's tongues down each other's throats." she rambles.
lane hits juniper's arm, signaling her to shut up. "we're sorry, hun. do you want to talk about it at all?" she asks, her eyebrows creased.
the brunette huffs a small laugh. "not even a little." she mumbles, shaking her head. god, she's pathetic. she's letting a boy make her feel this shitty. people wonder why she's never dated anyone.
juniper begins to make her way to liv's bedroom door in a swift, angry motion.
"where are you going?" olivia asks, watching her friend get angry over nothing.
the blonde shrugs innocently. "oh y'know, just going to beat this fucker up." she quips, holding back a smile.
olivia's eyes widen. "nononono. don't do that, it won't change anything." she protests, pleading her friend not to add to her stress.
"i almost kind of agree with you, june." lane adds, walking over and standing next to juniper.
the brunette groans into her hands, "i appreciate it, but i really don't need more conflict in my life." olivia she says, sounding exhausted. her friends cave in, almost out of pity, and sit down next to her.
olivia tsks, plopping her hands down in her lap. "i just need to eat tons of ice cream, watch 'the amazing spider-man' for the billionth time, and well.. cry." she rants, shaking her head as she does so.
"good thing we can do all three with you." lane murmurs, a grin growing on all the girl's faces.
