Characters:

Kamado Y/n:

A student from U.A.'s Support Department who was assigned to Class 3.A. Her high IQ made her pass all the necessary tests and due to all the crazy things Class 3.A. went through in their first year, the school assigned her to be Class 3.A.'s resident 'tinker'. She has a very no-nonsense personality and can sometimes be touchy, forgetting about people's boundaries which is seen in the first chapter when she takes Bakugo's hands in her own to see the effect his gauntlets have on his hands. She can be very blunt and straightforward and often causes misunderstandings by accident. When she was 8 years old, her aunt and uncle were killed by a villain and Y/n witnessed it all. Her uncle and aunt died in her arms as they begged her to make Akio, their son, into a good and respectable person. Following the incident, Y/n and her parents took Akio in and treated them like their own. She often puts other people behind Akio in her life and has constantly been picking up after Akio's messes.

Bakugo Katsuki:

He is a student in Class 3.A. of U.A. High School. He has anger issues but as time goes on, Y/n becomes one of the only people who can calm him down. He falls in love with Y/n the first time he sees her and is constantly breaking his gear to have an excuse to talk to her. He gets jealous easily and is very overprotective of Y/n even before they start dating which is seen when he gets into a fight with Mineta after he makes an inappropriate comment about Y/n's body.

Jiro Kyoka:

Y/n's best friend since the age of 3 who knows everything about her past. She can seem cold and indifferent at first but is protective of her friends. She's sweet and nice to those close to her. She often feels like she's Y/n's second priority when it comes to Akio but has always pushed those feelings down until one day she blows up. She cares deeply for Y/n which can be seen when Katsuki revealed he had feelings for Y/n to the class. Following that confession, Kyoka is seen interrogating Katsuki to make sure that he doesn't have any bad intentions for her friend.

Kamado Akio:

Kamado Akio is Y/n's younger cousin who is 2 years younger and currently in Class 1.A. of U.A. High. His name meant hero as that's what his parents wanted for him. Despite this, they never pushed him into the hero business and let him decide what he wanted. After seeing his parents die, he became determined to fulfill their last wish. Something he doesn't comprehend until later on is that his parents' last wish was for him to just be a good person. However, before he knew this, he would regularly get into fights with people, similar to Katsuki Bakugo. Y/n had always fixed what happened in the aftermath of the fights which is part of the reason she's able to handle Bakugo. He loves his cousin very much and often feels guilty for all she gives up for him. However, he does not voice his guilts as the last time he did, Y/n stared at him blankly for 10 minutes straight before Akio finally said that it was just a random thought and he was so grateful for all she does.

Kamado Atsuo and Kamado Yuri:

When Atsuo's brother and sister-in-law died, they took Akio in as their own son. Like the Bakugos, Atsuo(the father) is more calm while Yuri(the mother) is more outspoken and forward. They care deeply for their daughter and let her do as she wishes. This is seen when Y/n tells her parents that she will be giving up her dream as a hero for Akio and they don't protest. They firmly believe that Y/n is strong enough to make her own decisions. The first time they stepped in was when Y/n informed them that she would be quitting her job as Class 3.A.'s 'tinker' as they thought she was going too far.

Todoroki Shoto:

Y/n was Shoto's only friend growing up as his father deemed nobody worthy enough. Endeavor first wanted a Quirk Marriage due to Y/n's powerful quirk but the Kamados politely declined out of the children's feelings seeing how the two young kids only had platonic love for each other. As they grew older, Shoto confided everything to Y/n and is seen on multiple occasions to trust her deeply. One occasion is when he asks Y/n for help with Yaoyorozu as he has a crush on her. His closeness to Y/n seems to be why Bakugo gets jealous often whenever they hang out.

Class 3.A.:

The rest of Class 3.A. seems to treasure Y/n. Not only does she make their gear better every time it breaks, but she also becomes their little Cupid, matching people up. Her personality makes her very lovable and Class 3.A. feels as if they have to protect her as she goes along with them on class trips. However, on the first class trip, they discover the more likely scenario is Y/n protecting them as her quirk is very powerful after they see it in action.

Quirks:

Kamado Y/n:

Her quirk is energy manipulation. Using the energy around her, she can manipulate anything to what she wants. She knows how to make people collapse using the energy in their brains, which is seen in the later chapters where she makes Bakugo unconscious. She uses her quirk mainly for holographic projections after becoming a 'tinker'. Her quirk was first thought to be Telekenises in the first chapter when she took Bakugo's gauntlet off with a wave of her hand but after seeing the holographic keyboard for notes, Kyoka explained to the class what her quirk was.

Kamado Akio:

His quirk is Energy Giver. He can take energy from objects around him and transfer that energy to other people or objects. He can also give away his own energy but if he gives too much, he blacks out as seen in Y/n's flashback to when he was little, training to be a hero.

Kamado Yuri:

Not much is known about her quirk. As mentioned by Y/n in one of the earlier chapters, Yuri has the quirk to turn people's brains off or make them unconscious. Her quirk does not get explained in detail and remains mostly a mystery.

Kamado Atsuo:

Like the rest of the Kamado family, his quirk has to do with energy. He can make balls of energy and shoot them. They can be highly destructive depending on how much energy he has. Like his nephew, the energy can either be drawn from other sources or from him. He presumably also blacks out if he uses too much of his own energy. Much like Yuri, not much is known about his quirk.
