(For those of you who don't wanna read this long shit, there's a summary at the bottom. I recommend you read it but 🤷‍♀️ GO TO THE END OF PIC)

Angel of Death, that's how everyone knew Shimizu l/n. With a name like hers, Shimizu's destiny was chosen before she was even born.

...

Shimizu stood outside her once favorite place, her home, now wrapped in yellow caution tapes. Loud sirens rang in her ear, bright blue and red lights everywhere.

She stood lifeless, confused, her white long hair covering her face. Shimizu was a smart girl for her age, she knew from the looks in the police officers eyes, the whispers from the bystanders. They did not like her, she faced the floor, unable to do anything else.

"Kekeke," a creepy laugh could be heard, Shimizu looked up. She froze, a creepy creature floated above her. What was that? She looked up at the police officer next to her, tugging on his uniform, the man flinching. Could he see it too? The next thing Shimizu knew, she was handcuffed. The big metal barely wrapped around her small wrists. She was only five after all.

The next few moments were a blur. When she looked up, she was met with soft black eyes. "It must be confusing," a man said. Shimizu looked around, searching for the creepy creature she saw earlier. It was no where to be found. She was relived, maybe it was just a figment of her imagination.

Shimizu looked at the man in front of her. Her eyes widened recognizing who was in front of her, a hero. He was a hero, she could recognize his costume, Eraser Head. He was an underground hero, but she knew him, her friend was a maniac when it came to hero's. A total fanboy, how could she not know.

"Did mommy and daddy die? Did I kill them?," Shimizu asked, her frail voice asked, barely audible. Though could you blame her? She was only 5 after all, everything went by too fast for her. One moment she was playing hero's with her parents, the next thing she knew, they dropped to the floor unmoving.

Shimizu didn't panic, her parents taught her better, her shaky hand reached for the home phone, dosing the police officers number. She didn't remember much after that, just the bright lights she once used to love and the sirens she hoped to reduce in the world.

The heros eyes showed sympathy, such a young girl had no reason to be so mature and so, he hesitated, the girl that sat in front of him was too young. Too young to face such a traumatic experiences, though lying would do no good in the long run. "Yes, they did die, but they are in a better place now..," he hesitated to answer her next question.

"You did kill them, but that wasn't your fault," the hero spoke. Was this the right thing to say? It was true, but it felt so wrong and maybe it was.

"A better place...without me..," Shimizu looked down at her lap, realization hit, looking down at her hands. The very two hands that killed her parents. She didn't know what to feel.

"What is death?," she asked the hero. Everything was still confusing to her, what was death? The simple answer, the one she knew was when a person is no longer alive. Though after her today, she knew it wasn't that simple.

The hero thought for a moment, questioning himself. What was death? "Death...death is when a person is no longer alive," he said to the girl. That wasn't the answer she wanted, but what was she expecting. It's like asking someone what one plus one is and expecting them to answer something other than two.

"But...death dosent mean the end," he continued, catching Shimizu's attention. Death wasn't the end? That wasn't what she learned, or books at least. She waited for him to continue.

"As long as you, Shimizu l/n remember your parents. As long as you keep them in your heart, they will never die. So even if you have killed them, even if they are no longer here physically, you can keep them alive in your heart, with the memories you have,"the hero said, the explanation was too complicated for a little girl like Shimizu, but he hoped it would make sense. That made her feel somewhat better, she may have physically killed them, but she could keep them alive in her heart. It was confusing, but that speech was the only thing she could hold onto from crumbling.
