[Chapter -1]

The wind was blowing with its full speed, Clouds were roaring aloud, shiny lights were scattering around the sky turning the environment freezy cold and dreadful.  The road was looking empty and dark whereas street lamps were the only source of the light, laminating the path ahead but what she could see was just mistiness.

The rain was continuously pouring heavily, grazing her almost bare skin forcefully which caused her body to quiver terribly in fear and coldness at the same time. Silent tears were aggressively gusting from her eyes, mixing with the rain water on her dampened cheeks.

She was exhausted whereas her fragile body was on the verge of collapsing but instead of halting she continued to take her steps further on the dark alley..

She didn't know where she was heading. The only thing she knows is that she has to run as far as possible from that barbaric person who wants nothing but to torment her every inch of being. She was just running where her feet were leading her..

Her heartbeat fastened with fright when she heard heavy footsteps following her from behind.. Her already terrified self got more tensed up and she started running from the every might of her strength in her body..

“Stop running, doll, Nobody will be able to save you tonight.. Be a good girl and listen to me.” (laugh hilariously)

More tears welled up in her already glossy eyes hearing that malicious voice which is her worst nightmare.

Without looking back she attempted to run faster but in that deed her feet got tripped and her hands and knees got slammed against the hardened concrete road as she fell on the ground vigorously which made her hissed in affliction..

The night turned more gloomy with dimness whereas shining thunder shattered around the sky, making it look deadly horrified yet she remained unfazed by it because the only fear she felt was the presence of the man who was standing behind her with a vicious smirk..

“You can never run away from me, doll!! I told you I will find you no matter how far you go.” He laughed maliciously before extending his hand in order to grab her in his captive again. She shivered in pure terror and shook her head vigorously.

“NOO~” Flutter opening her wet lashes Y/n wake up in a cold dread. Her entire body was sweating whereas she was breathing frantically.

Her heart was still thumping against her chest rapidly while her eyes wandered around her surroundings to make sure that it was just her dream and whatever she saw was all her nightmare.

Releasing a relief breath she raised her trembling hand up and gradually wiped the sweats on her face from the back of her palm.

It was not like this was the first time she had dreamt of something so petrifying. She almost woke up like this every morning, trembling and covered in cold sweat because of those terrible nightmares which have been haunting her for countless nights..

Averting her gaze towards her room window she notices it's pouring and thundering outside so heavily. She silently peered at the window as she loved looking at rain and liked hearing its pouring sound but not thunder as they reminded her of something which she doesn't want to remember..

Her painful past… that horrible night..

Unknowingly she teared up more as that dream kept flashing over and over in her mind until she heard a knock on her bedroom door which brought her back to reality.
