Hi Readers,
I’m finally back with yet another love story. Believe it or not, this story wasn’t even in my game plan until the names of these characters just popped into my head out of nowhere. And as I started writing, the words effortlessly wove themselves together to create ‘The Fated Knot’.
Blurb
What’s fate? It’s like a bunch of random incidents falling perfectly into place, with an outcome that could have been both expected and unexpected at the same time. It’s like something that was to happen, either you wanted or not. It’s like you are bound to fall into some relationships, whether you wanted or not, whether you ever desired or not.
A knot that was unseen, uncalled for, not desired by either of them, was bound to be tied. They were bound to be tied in ‘The Fated Knot’.
Introducing Adhiraj Singh Shekhawat, the firstborn among the trio of heirs of the esteemed Shekhawat empire. As the oldest grandson, he held a special place in the hearts of his grandparents. His heart knew nothing but the warmth, love, and trust they showered upon him, surpassing even his own parents. They played a major role in moulding him into the remarkable man he was, embedding in him the principles he lived by and the virtues he upheld.
This brainiac didn’t just handle four segments of the prestigious Shekhawat Empire; he was also the go-to man for any business venture. With charisma that could make a rock swoon, he effortlessly attracted people from all walks of life. Mind you, ladies, he was not only a sight for sore eyes but also a top contender for the coveted bachelor title. He got women swooning over him left and right, but he remained uninterested in their advances, unless he got into a fling or two during his college.
Alas! Despite his magnetic charm, he couldn’t stumble upon a girl who could ace the daughter-in-law role for his family. He craved someone who would shower respect upon his elders and hold them dear in her heart. And so, he succumbed to the whims of his parents and agreed to marry the one they chose. Little did he know, his grandparents harboured a whole different vision of the perfect match for him.
Introducing Imara Rathore, the first girl child of the Rathore Family, born after countless generations. She was the shining star in the eyes of her doting parents, Chachu, Chachi Maa, and two older brothers. The only language she understood was love, care, and trust. Her world revolved around her beloved family and her best friend. With her enchanting and pure-hearted nature, impeccable beauty, and irresistible allure, she possessed the ability to captivate the attention of anyone she met. Though a little naughty, she was a girl who spoke with her actions more than words.
All she ever dreamed of was to find a man who could love her as deeply as her father loved her mother, and maybe someone who wouldn’t hesitate to unleash his manly wrath on anyone who dared to harm her, just like her Chachu did for her Chachi Maa once. Her father had made a solemn vow to bring her boundless happiness and find her a man who would love her to the moon and beyond. Behold, the pampered princess with a backbone of unwavering principles!
But what will happen when the unstoppable force of a father’s expectations meets the immovable object of his daughter’s desires? What will ensue when their visions of a blissful life take different, unexpected paths? It’s time for the marbles to roll and destiny to have its witty say.
Someone’s wish ignited a chain of events that led to a most serendipitous encounter! The stars aligned and fate, mischievous as ever, played its hand in weaving the captivating tale of ‘The Fated Knot’.
