Thandeka

When I got back from London, all I wanted was to be my man's wife...for richer and for poorer, for better and for the worst. We said our vows then signed. We are now husband and wife, Thandeka Marcus Willis. We had a dinner with my family and friends then they all brought us wedding gifts. I know I didn't get my dream wedding but I had to do it for my husband. I'm not complaining, Chloe was at her best behavior...she made sure our guests were well taken care of and she kept on checking up on me if I was okay. I didn't believe it when she said she forgave me, I doubted her but after my wedding day,I knew that I could never doubt her. I was cleaning up the house when I came across two takeaway boxes in the dustbin, then I realized that Marcus had a visitor when I was gone, it was a female visitor because there was also a tissue with red lipstick on it and I never use a red lipstick.
"Babe! Baby!"
"What? Why are you yelling?"
"Did you have a visitor when I was gone? A female one?"
"Oh,yeah."
"You did?"
"Chloe was here babe. She brought food, I'm sorry I didn't tell you babe but I didn't have to tell you because her plan didn't work."
"What plan babe?" I knew I shouldn't trust her." Was she here to convince you to cancel the wedding?"
"No babe,relax." He laughed
"Is there something funny maybe?"
"Babe, she was here to discuss with me the bridal shower she wanted to throw you..."
"What? Chloe wanted to do that for me?"
"Yeah, but I told her we can't do it because we'll be getting married as soon as you get back baby. You don't have to worry about Chloe baby girl, you have a real true friend. Besides, she was telling me about her new boyfriend...Chris."
"Oh,huu! I can breathe now."
"Trust me mama." He kissed my forehead. "Let me get back to fixing that pipe."
"Okay, I'll be making lunch soon."
"Perfecto!" I had nothing to worry about, Chloe is a damn real friend. I had nothing to worry about.
