Michael stood at the entrance of his condo, looking at the neatly packed boxes that now filled the living room. He took a deep breath, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. Melissa was officially moving in, and their life as a married couple was about to begin. He glanced at her, her face illuminated by the sunlight streaming through the windows, and felt his heart swell with love.

"Welcome home," he said, his voice soft and filled with emotion.

Melissa turned to him, her eyes sparkling. "Thank you, Michael. It feels so good to finally be here, together."

They spent the morning unpacking, laughing, and organizing their belongings. Melissa's presence brought a new energy to the condo, transforming it into a true home. She arranged her books on the shelves, carefully placed her clothes in the closet, and added little touches that made the space feel warm and inviting.

"Michael, where do you want this?" Melissa asked, holding up a framed photo of the two of them from their wedding day.

Michael smiled, walking over to her. "How about right here?" He pointed to a spot on the mantel, next to a small statue of a Dundie award.

Melissa chuckled. "Perfect. It's like our own little trophy shelf."

As they continued to unpack, Michael couldn't help but feel grateful for this new chapter in their lives. He had always dreamed of finding someone who would accept him for who he was, and now, he had Melissa by his side.

As they walked into the office together for the first time as a married couple, they were greeted with cheers and congratulations from their colleagues.

"Congratulations, you two!" Pam said, hugging Melissa warmly. "How was the honeymoon?"

"It was amazing, Pam," Melissa replied, her eyes glowing with happiness. "We had the best time."

Jim leaned against his desk, grinning. "So, what's it like living with Michael?"

Melissa laughed, glancing at Michael who was beaming with pride. "It's an adventure, that's for sure. But honestly, it's been wonderful."

Dwight, sitting at his desk, couldn't resist chiming in. "You'll find that cohabitation requires strict guidelines and mutual respect. I have a comprehensive list of rules if you need them."

Michael rolled his eyes but couldn't help but laugh. "Thanks, Dwight. We'll keep that in mind."

Throughout the day, Melissa made a point to talk to everyone, ensuring that her transition into her new role as both a colleague and Michael's wife was as smooth as possible. She knew that maintaining professionalism was important, and she was determined to set a good example.

Later that afternoon, Michael found himself in his office, a sense of contentment settling over him. He glanced at the picture of Melissa on his desk and smiled. Just then, Melissa walked in, carrying a stack of papers.

"Hey, I need to discuss a few things with you," she said, sitting down across from him.

"Sure thing," Michael replied, leaning back in his chair. "What's up?"

Melissa explained a few HR-related updates, but their conversation soon shifted to more personal topics.

"By the way, I was thinking we should have a little housewarming dinner this weekend," Melissa suggested. "Invite a few friends over, make it official."

Michael's eyes lit up. "That sounds perfect. We could do a barbecue! I make a mean burger."

Melissa laughed. "I know you do. It'll be great."
