Albert put the papers right in front of the commander and King George. "Here. It must be noted, though, that all of the specifications here are only technical. We don't actually know how else the process will affect Queen Elizabeth otherwise, much like the other Kansen that have gone through the procedure."

King George V took a look at the design. "It is an impressive upgrade, at least from what's written here. I think she will be satisfied with her new capabilities, and likely anything else that comes with it. Still, though, it is possible that Her Majesty may have some last-minute anxieties."

The commander leaned over to take a look at the specs himself. "I think that her sisters will be able to help her out with those, at least, but we absolutely should be prepared for any royal hesitation. I don't know why she might ask us for help, but we should be prepared all the same."

Albert gave a nod, the junior officer sporting a soft blush through the entire proceeding. "I see. Do you have any further business for me, sir?"

"I think that's all for now, I'll let you know if anything else comes up. You're dismissed."

Albert saluted, and went on his way.

After he was gone, King George looked at Alex with a smile.

Alex looked back at her after straightening the papers. "Something on your mind?"

King George V nuzzled him a little. "Just thinking... Albert looks like he's been doing very well."

He kissed her on the lips. "Oh, what did you notice this time?"

She needed a moment to figure out how to explain it. "Just that he had the same sort of look that you do, at times, after we've had our private times together."

Alex rubbed her back. "I'm not going to ask him what he does on his own time. But if he's in a good mood, that's only better for us, even if he doesn't show it as openly as other people do."

King George chuckled. "He's enjoying those women and they're enjoying him. There really isn't much more for either of us to know about it. I think we can politely leave the details to the seven of them."

"Because, after all, it would be rude?"

"Exactly."

The commander began to rub King George's belly as he looked back at the technical specs, giving them a more thorough look. "I do mean what I said. I think Her Majesty will be pleased with the technical upgrades to her equipment- She'll probably be confident enough to fight with such a big boost. However, she's been around long enough to see that retrofitted ships go through some changes, some more drastic than others."

King George continued. "Warspite is close to her majesty, but Valiant less so. We're going to have to become people that Her Majesty can talk to, and double quick, as there's no telling what she may want to tell us, or even when."

"I don't think it'll be a problem. I'm expected to hear the concerns of other leaders, so it's easy to arrange any kind of private meeting her majesty desires." He considered this. "I think we should meet her together."

King George sat back up. "Now, why would you require my assistance in this matter? I merely would like to know your reasoning of course."

"Just as a reminder that not all change is bad." He stroked her hair. "...You're still beautiful, for instance."

King George smiled. "That's something we can talk about after hours, certainly." She gave him a kiss on the cheek. "We should go over this to see how this theoretical new queen will fit into the Royal Navy's deployments. I do not think that I can believe that Her Majesty will not wish to show off her new armament at some opportunity or another."
