The entrance ceremony was boring to say the least and it was obvious that i wasn't the only one who thought the same thing. majority of the students didn't seem to be listening and could be seen doing their own thing whether that was talking to the people around them or simply staring up into the ceiling.

However during the ceremony there was one thing that caught my attention, as we advanced through the classes i noticed the number of people who were paying attention to what was happening would increase as we went from class D to class A. Whilst there may not be any  correlation it caught my attention as when using the same logic with grading systems, A is considered one of the best whilst D is considered the worst.

If what i was thinking is true then this school may have a grading system where the worst students are placed in class D with the best students placed in class A, but even then it doesn't make much sense since i'm confident enough in my academic ability to say that i'm far above what this school would be teaching their students.

I decided to get rid of these thoughts in my head as i saw Chairman Sakayanagi begin to leave the stage signalling that the ceremony had now ended. Me, along with the rest of the students began to walk to our designated classrooms and after a few minutes walking i finally reached the entrance to my classroom.

I could hear voices from the other side of the door and after entering i could see small groups of people huddled around different desks, when i entered it caused a few people to look in my direction and started to hear people whispering to each other.

My eyes soon fell on Kushida who had already entered the classroom and could be seen talking to two other girls, one with short brown hair and another with brown hair that went to her shoulders. Kushida also noticed me and waved me over, not wanting to seem rude i walked over to where she was.

"Who's this Kushida-san?" One of the girls asked whilst looking at me.

"Ayanokoji Kiyotaka, It's nice to meet you." I introduced myself before Kushida did it for me.

"Ayanokoji? it has a nice ring to it, My names Onodera Kayano."

after Onodera introduced herself i looked towards the other girl, from her face i could tell she looked a bit nervous and she struggled to maintain eye-contact with me.

"M-my names Inogashira... Inogashira kokoro." She stuttered in her speech showing that she probably wasn't used to talking to people, much like me.

"So Kushida-san, how did you and Ayanokoji-kun meet? I remember you saying no-one from your middle school came with you." Onodera asked wondering how me and Kushida know each other.

"I met Ayanokoji-kun on the way to school, we both walked together to the entrance ceremony." Kushida answered causing a mischievous smile to form on Onodera's face.

"The first person you met is a boy, it's just like the start of a romance novel." Onodera joked in an attempt to tease the both of us.

Her attack worked on Kushida as her face turned a shade of red, embarrassed from what Onodera said. Things were much different for me as i had kept hold of my usual poker face.

"No reaction? That's fine, i'll definitely get you next time." she said with determined voice.

This girl seems troublesome, I hope there aren't others like her.

I decided i was going to go find my seat so i said fair-well to the three girls i was with and went to search for my seat that was located on the far back corner of the room, i then sat down in my chair and waited until our homeroom teacher would arrive.

roughly around 5 minutes later and our teacher still had not shown up so i decided to observe my classmates as all of them were now present in the room. I didn't find anything really interesting except for a few people, one being a blonde haired boy who was located in the middle of the room with his feet placed on his desk whilst he was checking himself out with a mirror, readjusting his hair to his liking.
