"So..." I murmured, letting the word draw out, trying to show just how bored I was.

Jin glanced over, a playful smirk tugging at his lips. "You seem bored, little girl."

I nodded like an obedient child, then tilted my head towards him, feigning innocence.

He chuckled, the sound deep and warm, then flashed a bright smile. "What if we go for a swim at the beach?"

My eyes lit up. "Okiee!"

"Go change," Jin ordered, his voice taking on a mock seriousness that made it impossible to resist.

"I'll go!" I exclaimed, dashing towards my room. Within moments, I was slipping into my swimsuit, excitement bubbling up inside me.

After gathering together, we decided to head out for some fresh air and adventure. We made our way to the side beach, a quiet and secluded spot away from the usual. The gentle sound of the waves lapping against the shore created a peaceful atmosphere, and the soft sand beneath our feet made the walk feel relaxing. As we strolled along the coastline, the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the water, and we couldn't help but feel a sense of calm and connection to nature.

“It’s so beautiful,” I murmured, my eyes taking in the view.

“Indeed it is,” Eunha unnie agreed softly beside me, her gaze just as captivated.

Suddenly, I heard a familiar voice call out, “Hey!” It was Jimin oppa. Before I could react, a splash of cold water hit me square in the face.

“You!” I shouted, immediately chasing after him, laughter bubbling up despite my frustration.

“You can’t catch up, shorty!” he teased, his voice full of mockery as he dashed ahead, glancing back at me with that mischievous grin.

Oh, he’s really testing my patience now.

Determined, I picked up my pace, water splashing around my legs as I sprinted through the shallow waves. Jimin's laughter echoed in the air, urging me to run faster.

“You're so slow!” he taunted again, barely breaking a sweat as he kept a safe distance ahead.

“Yah! Just wait till I catch you!” I shouted back, breathless but refusing to give up. I could feel Eunha unnie's laughter from behind, enjoying the playful chaos we were creating.

Jimin suddenly slowed down for just a second, probably to give me a chance. Big mistake.

Seizing the opportunity, I lunged forward with everything I had and managed to grab the back of his shirt, pulling him toward me with a triumphant grin.

“Got you!” I yelled, victorious.

But Jimin, ever the trickster, twisted around, catching me off guard as he wrapped his arms around me in one swift motion. In a flash, he lifted me off the ground and spun me around.

“Not so fast, shorty,” he laughed, effortlessly carrying me as if I weighed nothing.

“Put me down!” I protested between giggles, hitting his arm lightly. But instead of letting me go, he waded deeper into the water, the cool waves now reaching up to our knees.

“Oh, I’ll put you down alright,” he said with a wicked grin.

Before I could stop him, Jimin let go, dropping me straight into the water with a big splash. I shrieked, the cold water rushing over me as I sank momentarily under the surface.

When I came back up, sputtering and drenched, I shot him a glare. But I couldn’t hold it for long — his face was just too amused. I ended up laughing instead.

“You’re the worst!” I splashed him back with all my strength, sending water flying.

“Guess that makes us even,” he teased, shaking the water from his hair.

“Hardly,” I muttered, standing up and wringing out my soaked clothes. But even as I pretended to be annoyed, I couldn’t stop smiling.

“Come on,” Jimin said with a softer voice, offering his hand to help me out of the water. “Let’s get back before you catch a cold.”

I rolled my eyes but took his hand anyway. As we made our way back to shore, I glanced at him from the corner of my eye.

Despite the teasing, there was something warm in his gaze. Maybe he wasn’t testing my patience after all.
