Trapped in the Shadow of Reality

"Please don't bully me", she said.

Shea, a 14 year old girl, was really scared of people and crowded places. She had social anxiety and anthropophobia. She hated going to the school as there were so many people there.
Shea doesn't like to go to school because she gets bullied there.

After one week, Shea went to her school. One week ago, her classmates bullied her so much that she was hospitalized for two days and she told this to her parents that she was bullied by her classmates.
Her parents complained about this to the principal. He called the bullies as well as Shea and asked her.
"Did they bully you?" "Answer me I'll punish them." Said the principal.
Shea replied, "Yes, they have been bullying me for one month"
"you should have told me about this" said the principal.

"What do you want me to do with them? Should I suspend them or rusticate them?"
"No, just tell them to apologise, that would be enough for me. I don't want to ruin their studies because of this."

"Ok" replied the principal.

"Now you guys say sorry to hear and say you won't repeat it."

"We're apologizing, Shea please pardon us." said the bullies.
Shea thought that everything is gonna be fine but no one knows what is going to happen with her.

The bullies weren't happy that Shea complained about them. So, they thought to bully her after school.
After school, the bullies took Shea to the terrace by telling her that they wanted to apologise but on the terrace.

They started bullying her. They bullied her so much that she became unconscious. The bullies got frightened so they left her on the terrace.
When she regained consciousness, she wanted to go downstairs but the gate was locked.

She was panicking too much. She was screaming and shouting "HELP ME, SOMEONE OPEN THE GATE."

She was wearing a watch and saw the time. She was shocked and said to herself "Wait...wh-what? It's 8 o' clock at night. Oh my goodness, I have to go home anyhow! Mom and dad must be getting worried about me."
She started banging the door hard but she was tired with all the banging.

But after 5 mins, the door lock opened and she thought that someone had come but when she went to the gate. She was no one.

But at that time she ignored that there was no one there. She started going downstairs. But at the fourth floor of her school, she heard a sound.
Shea thought, "Wait, what was that sound? Someone is still in school, that must be the person who opened the terrace gate. I must thank them."

She started walking towards the sound. The sound was coming from a classroom. She went to that classroom. Shea saw a shadow in the corner of the classroom. It was really dark so she couldn't see anything clearly.

She said to that shadow, "Hello, did you open the terrace gate for me? Actually, I wanted to say thank you."

But the shadow didn't reply back.

She was observing that shadow carefully and soon she realised it was not a human being.
She started running towards the stairs she was continuously going down but she realised she was coming to the same floor again and again. She understood that she was trapped in a loop but she still didn't stop and again started going downstairs.But after a minute, Shea noticed that now the shadow isn't in the classroom but now it moved closer and is at the door of the classroom. She still didn't stop.

But again in a few minutes, Shea saw that shadow running very fast towards her. It was coming closer to Shea, very close to Shea. She got scared.

Then, she heard a voice "Shea, wake up, wake up Shea!" It was her parents who were calling her.

"What are you doing on the terrace." Asked the principal and her parents.

Shea was still confused. Was that a dream or 'reality'.

Her parents were concerned about her. Shea thought that it was a dream.

When she was coming downstairs with her parents and the principal, at the fourth floor she noticed her watch near the stairs on the ground which slipped from her hand when she was running in her 'dream'. Her mind instantly clicked that it wasn't a dream....it was reality.

In the end, the bullies got punished but what happened to Shea that night? It's still a mystery.
