Ana felt her body crumple to the ground, the mirror was back to normal like as if nothing had happened, but it had, Naly had been sucked into it by some kind of magic. No matter how stupid she thought she was Ana could think that was the reason.

She looked around, Naly’s phone lay back up shining the light up at the ceiling, reaching for it Ana took a deep breath, something very confusing had happened to Naly and she had to find out what, this was no time to be afraid of the dark.

She stood trembling and shined around before walking over to the chairs and table, on the table sat a piece of paper, “What is this? ‘To unlock the mirror, you must show blood, it must match, the one the mirror loved.’ What is that supposed to mean?” Her head spun, blood, Naly’s blood, the mirror, Naly’s blood matched the one that the Mirror loved, “Since we’re twins that must mean that mine does too.”

She walked cautiously over to the Mirror, her stricken face staring back at her, she caught sight of the scratch and place her finger on it before slowly rubbing back and forth, she felt the pain in her finger and saw the blood on the mirror before she pulled away.

As she watched the blood seeped through the crack, it all happened over again, the cracking, the light and the Water? She looked down; seeping out of the mirror was water, running water. It flowed into the basement, then doubled back on its self and disappeared back into the mirror repeatedly.

Taking another deep breath she stepped forward, the water suddenly seemed to come alive it grabbed her feet and jerked her in, her last thought before she hit the floor and the light surrounded her was, ‘Naly I’m coming.’ Then it was black.

Naly’s eyes opened, she was lying in a cave, her back against the cold floor. She sat up feeling a head ache coming on, standing she looked to where light streamed into the cave, a wall of water block her view of where she was. A small stream of water flowed into the cave from the waterfall and disappeared into the back wall.

She walked toward the entrance and peeked her head out, a small pathway lead from the cave to a grassy area in front of a forest. She made her way over the wet stones and finally touched the grass, just then, and only then did she realize she was in a dress, not only a dress but a ball gown type of dress.

Her brows furrowed as she studied herself, in the river that was fed by the waterfall she wore a light blue dress, its sleeves reaching to the middle of her upper arms, white gloves went down from there and encased her hands. Her feet were in light blue slippers, and her golden hair was hanging but was pulled out of the way around her ears. She gasped, how had she ended up like this? She looked back up to the waterfall cave, but it was completely hidden from view like as if someone designed it to be that way.

All of the memories flashed across her mind, how had she even ended up in the middle of the woods next to a waterfall when she was just in the basement of the cabin with Ana.

Shaking her she thought maybe it was a dream, she pinched herself and grimaced, it was definitely real. But how?

When something caught her eye she looked back up to the waterfall and saw a woman descending the slippery walk with great care, almost fear. She wore a Shimmering butterfly blue dress designed the same way as Naly’s, her slippers matched her dress, her gloved hands which clutched a piece of paper tightly were clad in black and her hair was done half up half down, the top part up and the bottom down, reminding Naly of Belle in Beauty and the Beast.
