The Rustbucket was parked outside an ice cream parlor with Max at a ATM. A bulky trucker approached him from behind.
Trucker:"Out of the way, grandpa. I got a major withdraw to make."
The trucker then throws Max to the ground, close to a slimmer man. Inside the ice cream parlor, Ben, Gwen, and Paku were deciding what they wanted.
Gwen:"What do you have that's non-fat with less than 3% sugar?"
Scooper:"Napkins. What about you two?"
Before they could give their order, they heard a commotion outside. They looked to see the trucker carrying a chained hook.
Ben:"(running outside) I'm about to go rocky road."
Paku:"(gives money to Gwen) I'll have vanilla and whatever she wants."
He followed Ben out the parlor. The trucker impaled the hook into the ATM and gestured his partner in a pickup truck. The man hit the gas but the vehicle won't move, and to his shock, the steering wheel and dashboard morphed black with green lights, revealing Ben as Upgrade.

Upgrade:"Your cash request has been denied."
The truck morphed fully and tossed the man out before Ben fused off the vehicle.
The trucker pulled his hook out the ATM and stared to spin it. He threw the hook, only for a crimson saber tooth to catch it midair.

Paku, now Sabor, spit out the hook and growled at the trucker. Frightened, the trucker backed away before another saber tooth appeared behind him, entrapping him. Max then appeared and sent a right hook, knocking him down as both Sabors walked to each other and merged into one.
Max:"Way to go, boys."
Gwen came out of the parlor with their ice cream and walked to Paku and began to pat his fur as he nudged her with his head.
Upgrade:"Oh yeah! I'm ready for anything! Bring it on! What's next?"
Max:"We're heading off to see your aunt Vera for the weekend."
