The cabin was serene, with everyone lounging around in their usual spots. Tixo had been running around playfully, chasing after something only he could see, when he accidentally bumped his head against the wall. Dazed, he stumbled back and shook his head, but something seemed off.
Wei, sitting comfortably on the couch and engrossed in a book, looked up when he heard a soft, plaintive meow. He was startled to see Tixo, now behaving like a literal cat. His movements were fluid and feline, his eyes wide and curious as he approached Wei.
Tixo leapt onto the couch with surprising agility and began kneading Wei’s hair with his paws, purring contentedly. Wei, initially taken aback, couldn’t help but chuckle at the absurdity of the situation. He absentmindedly petted Tixo, enjoying the strange but oddly comforting sensation of his "cat" friend.
For a while, Wei found it amusing and even soothing, stroking Tixo’s fur as he kneaded his hair. Tixo's purring was rhythmic and pleasant, and Wei smiled at the whimsical behavior.
However, as time passed, Tixo’s persistent kneading and occasional attempts to curl up in Wei’s lap began to wear on him. Despite his best efforts to be patient, Wei started to grow a little frustrated with the constant attention. He tried gently pushing Tixo away, but the cat-like Tixo was relentless, purring louder and clinging more tightly.
“Okay, Tixo, enough,” Wei said with a hint of irritation in his voice. “You need to stop.”
Tixo meowed plaintively, curling up tighter in an attempt to stay close. Wei sighed and tried to focus on his book, but Tixo’s persistent presence was making it difficult.
Finally, in a moment of desperation, Wei managed to gently nudge Tixo off his lap. Tixo tumbled to the floor with a soft thud and looked up at Wei with wide, innocent eyes. As if on cue, Tixo accidentally bumped his head against the coffee table, the impact causing a slight daze.
Suddenly, there was a flash of light, and Tixo’s cat-like demeanor disappeared. He blinked in confusion, finding himself back to his normal self, standing on the floor with an embarrassed expression. Wei looked at him with a mix of relief and amusement.
“Back to normal, huh?” Wei said with a smirk, brushing his disheveled hair. “I was starting to think I’d never get any peace.”
Tixo rubbed his head sheepishly. “I’m so sorry, Wei. I didn’t mean to be such a nuisance.”
Wei chuckled, finally able to relax. “It’s okay. Just maybe try not to hit your head again.”
The two shared a laugh, and Tixo joined Wei on the couch, now back to his usual self. The rest of the group, having witnessed the commotion, gathered around with curious looks and playful teasing.
Despite the initial inconvenience, Tixo’s playful cat antics had provided a memorable moment, and the group enjoyed sharing in the laughter and camaraderie that followed.
