Rose was looking at me intently as I rubbed my chin for answers.

This weekend, I was pondering on the thought for a few days now, trying to decipher the meanings for their actions. Obviously they were careless if they killed let alone hurt people in along their path. But that image of that couple walking so calmly and freely through the chaos and blood, I just had a weird and sickening feeling about them

If only I knew their faces.

"You seem tense." Rose stated calmly as we sat on the oldest bench in the park. Owners and their dogs would dominate in one another as they would jog lightly across the winding path that led us to the rusty playground. Couples would stroll by hand in hand as they would talk about meaninless things like shoe sizes or flavors of ice cream.

They seemed to be normal people. But, why was I didn't I fit in with the cycle?

I was unsual in many different ways. While reading, I would go to the most absurd places to to read and just let the nature and peacefullness engulf me until I was tired. Mother nature is the only place where there was peace and happiness without all the constant fighting and whining from nearby people.

"Aren't I always?" I asked, trying to play a smirk to no prevail. I was too serious to light up the situation, it seemed as if that image had me on hold for the past few days. I wasn't myself. I wasn't my closed up person that I was before I met Rose and all this re-occuring madness happened. Sometimes I wished it would never happen. And sometimes I was thankful for the things that I've done...

"Apple?" Rose asked, her fingertips pressing against the red skin firmly as I took it in one swift move.

"Thanks, I gue---" Only to be interrupted with a blood curdling shriek that could be heard miles away. That shriek seemed to echo repeatedly in my brain as I looked at Rose slowly, trying to decipher her face reaction. Her pupils decreased as she was paralyzed from the sound. My heart beat quickened with every mintue as my eyes scanned across the park, trying to see anyone in danger. If it was that couple or anyone suspicous, they knew that Rose was here.

"Shit." my eyes rolled up to the top of a 8 story building as a girl was dangling over the balcony with her feet scratching against the brick wall, trying to not to fall. Her fingernails were scraping against railing, as the pain was slowly coming off against her grasp withe very flinch and whimper. She screamed help as a some eople were gathering around. Some people were in shock and some were just as calm as Rose. The public were very twisted in terms of behaviour.

And that was when, I saw a figure appear at the balcony for a split second. Rose seemed to recognize it quickly as we dashed up to the entrance of the building, only to find it locked.

I was shocked to see someone, standing in the building with darkness contouring their features very harshly.
