It was a dark and stormy night- jk I'm not gonna start this like that
Kou and Teru were cooking, it was a usual night at the Minamoto household. It WAS until Teru, Kou's older brother, sensed the presence of a supernatural. "It's probably a low-level spirit. I'll go deal with it just in case." Teru told Kou "Unless you wanna go?" he added. Kou was a bit surprised "Me?" he said. Teru never lets him deal with supernaturals because he thinks he's 'too weak'. Kou, wanting to prove he was capable of dealing with spirits, rushed to open the door, ready to face whatever was behind it.
He opens the door to see..... Mitsuba???? "Mitsuba!! You're...You're okay!!" he says, full of excitement. "What do you mean? I'm not okay at all." Mitsuba responds, before quickly grabbing Kou's wrist and asking him to hang out. Kou, concerned about Mitsuba's previous statement asks "Hey! What do you mean you aren't okay?!" but Mitsuba brushes him off, saying that's not important.
Mitsuba and Kou continue walking to wherever until Mitsuba hears something. Something singing in a soft, beautiful voice. Before Kou could stop him, he runs off to investigate. Kou yells for Mitsuba to wait but that doesn't work so he goes after him. Kou can't believe what it he sees. It's....Him???? But why? What is this? Why is Kou of all people singing to Mitsuba? Is it an evil spirit? But why would it take Kou's form?
