ship: izuku midoriya + ochaco uraraka.
The autumn air was crisp and filled with the scent of fallen leaves as Izuku Midoriya and Ochaco Uraraka strolled through the park. The trees were a kaleidoscope of oranges, reds, and yellows, creating a picturesque backdrop for their walk. The couple, now dating for several months, enjoyed the tranquillity of the chilly day, the crunch of leaves underfoot providing a soothing soundtrack to their time together.
Ochaco shivered slightly, rubbing her hands together for warmth. Despite her efforts to stay warm, the chilly breeze cut through her jacket. Noticing her discomfort, Izuku stopped and turned to her, his eyes filled with concern.
"Are you cold, Ochaco?" he asked, his voice gentle.
She smiled, though her cheeks were rosy from the cold. "Just a little. But it's okay, really."
Izuku frowned, unsatisfied with her answer. Without a word, he unwrapped the green scarf from around his neck and draped it over her shoulders. The scarf was warm, infused with his body heat, and it smelled faintly of his cologne. Ochaco's eyes widened in surprise as she looked up at him.
"But Izuku, then you'll be cold," she protested.
He shook his head, a reassuring smile on his face. "Don't worry about me. I want you to be warm."
Ochaco's heart swelled with affection for him. She reached up and adjusted the scarf around her neck, the fabric soft against her skin. "Thank you. You always take such good care of me."
His cheeks turned a shade of pink that had nothing to do with the cold. "I just want to make sure you're comfortable," he said shyly.
They resumed their walk, Ochaco now snugly wrapped in Izuku's scarf. The wind seemed less harsh, the cold less biting with the added warmth of his gesture. She nestled into the scarf, feeling a sense of closeness to him that went beyond mere physical proximity.
As they walked, they talked about everything and nothing—classes at U.A. High, their friends, their dreams for the future. The conversation flowed easily, punctuated by laughter and the occasional playful nudge. They paused at a small bridge overlooking a stream, the water reflecting the brilliant colours of the foliage around them.
"Isn't it beautiful?" Ochaco remarked, leaning on the railing.
Izuku stood beside her, his gaze fixed on her rather than the scenery. "It is," he agreed, though his eyes spoke of a different beauty.
She turned to look at him, catching his gaze. Her heart skipped a beat at the intensity in his emerald eyes. "Izuku?"
He blinked, realizing he'd been caught staring. "Sorry, I just... I was thinking about how lucky I am."
Ochaco's cheeks warmed, and she took his hand in hers, intertwining their fingers. "I'm the lucky one," she said softly. "You've always been there for me, even before we started dating. You believe in me, and that means more than I can say."
He squeezed her hand gently. "And you believe in me too. You've always supported me, even when I doubted myself. I don't know what I'd do without you."
They stood there in comfortable silence, the world around them fading as they focused on each other. The bond they shared was deep, built on trust, support, and a mutual respect that had only grown stronger with time.
A sudden gust of wind rustled the leaves, sending a shower of colourful foliage around them. Ochaco laughed, the sound like music to Izuku's ears. She reached up, pulling him down by the scarf to plant a soft kiss on his lips. It was a brief, tender moment, but it spoke volumes about their feelings for each other.
As they pulled apart, Izuku's face was a brilliant shade of red, but he couldn't stop smiling. "We should probably head back before it gets too cold," he suggested, though he was reluctant to end their time together.
"Yeah," Ochaco agreed, though she too felt the pull to stay longer. "But we can always do this again. I love these little moments with you."
Izuku nodded, his heart full. "Me too, Ochaco. Me too."
Hand in hand, they made their way back through the park, the warmth of their connection keeping the chill at bay. As they walked, the scarf around Ochaco's neck was a constant reminder of Izuku's care and affection, a symbol of the bond that would carry them through whatever challenges lay ahead.
