Lin entered the dojo, his heart pounding with anticipation. There was no one at the reception desk, so he ventured into the main hall. To his surprise, the only people training were children. He furrowed his brow in confusion. How could the Taekwondo legend, Hansu, be teaching only children?
Suddenly, a hand grabbed Lin's shoulder. He was shocked that he hadn't sensed the person approaching. The man, speaking in a calm voice, asked, "What are you doing here? Do you need something?"
Lin turned around and said, "You must be Mr. Hansu, right?"
"Yes, I am," the man replied. Before Mr. Hangoo could say anything further, Lin continued, "Teach me. Teach me itf Taekwondo."
"Why do you want to learn that?" Hansu asked, his tone serious.
"Oh, I'll be using it in a competition," Lin remarked.
"Competitions typically use WTF Taekwondo, but you want to learn ITF," Hansu said.
Lin hesitated, unsure how to respond.
"Speak, boy!" Hansu demanded firmly.
"I want… no, I like Taekwondo and want to learn the best version of it," Lin explained, recalling what Hansu's son had mentioned in the manhwa.
"So, you're saying you want to learn the ITF version just because you like Taekwondo?" Hansu questioned.
Lin nodded affirmatively.
"Are you a MMA fighter. You got the body of an one, so it won't require much effort to train you" Hansu remarked.
"Yes, I do MMA, but I'm self-taught," Lin replied.
"I have a feeling that you're not telling the whole truth," Hansu said, his eyes narrowing. "But it doesn't matter as long as you pay the fees and your talent meets my standards" he added.
A month had passed. The tuition fee wasn't an issue for Lin, as he literally had an infinite amount of money. The training wasn't as hard as he expected, thanks to his copy ability. Even Hansu was genuinely impressed by Lin's rapid progress.
"You've surpassed my expectations," Hansu remarked one day, watching Lin flawlessly execute a complex series of kicks. "With that speed, you will overtake me in no time."
Lin smiled, wiping the sweat from his brow. "Thank you, Master Hansu. Your teaching has been invaluable."
Hansu nodded, his expression thoughtful. "Just remember, mastering Taekwondo is not just about physical prowess but also about discipline and respect."
Another two weeks had passed. Lin was living in an apartment near the dojo for convenience. One morning, Hansu called Lin to meet him for something important.
"So, you're finally here, Lin," Hansu said as Lin entered the dojo.
"Do you have something to tell me?" Lin asked.
"Yes, something very important," Hansu replied. "It's about your growth. You've learned everything I could teach you in under two months. There is nothing more I can impart. But before I pass you as a student, you have to spar with me. Do you accept?"
Lin felt a surge of happiness and a twinge of nervousness but accepted the challenge.

**The Fight**
The dojo was silent, the air thick with anticipation. Lin and Hansu stood facing each other in the center of the training hall. The children had been cleared out, leaving only the two fighters and the echoes of their breaths.
"Are you ready?" Hansu asked, his voice steady.
Lin nodded, slipping into a fighting stance. "Ready."
Hansu initiated the fight with a swift roundhouse kick aimed at Lin's head. Lin reacted instantly, raising his arm to block the kick and feeling the force of Hansu's power through his forearm. Without missing a beat, Lin countered with a straight punch to Hansu's midsection. Hansu twisted his body, narrowly avoiding the blow.
The two exchanged a flurry of blows and blocks, each testing the other's speed and precision. Hansu launched a series of rapid kicks, each one delivered with impeccable technique. Lin, thanks to his copy ability, mirrored these kicks with astonishing accuracy, matching Hansu move for move.
Hansu's eyes narrowed with approval and determination. He shifted his strategy, feinting a high kick and then sweeping low to take out Lin's legs. Lin, anticipating the move, leaped into the air, performing a spinning back kick that aimed directly at Hansu's shoulder. Hansu managed to block the kick but stumbled slightly from the impact.
"You've gotten stronger," Hansu said, a hint of a smile playing on his lips.
Lin didn't reply, focusing instead on maintaining his momentum. He pressed the attack, launching a series of rapid punches and kicks that forced Hansu to retreat. But Hansu was far from finished. With a sudden burst of speed, he closed the distance between them, delivering a powerful elbow strike that caught Lin off guard.
Lin staggered back, his vision momentarily blurred. Hansu pressed the advantage, aiming a high kick at Lin's head. Summoning his strength, Lin ducked under the kick and swept Hansu's supporting leg, sending him tumbling to the ground.
Hansu rolled to his feet with a fluid motion, a gleam of respect in his eyes. "Impressive. But let's see how you handle this."
Hansu adopted a new stance, one Lin hadn't seen before. It was a hybrid style, blending traditional Taekwondo with elements of other sects of the martial arts. Hansu moved with blinding speed, delivering a barrage of strikes that forced Lin to rely on every ounce of his skill and reflexes.
The dojo seemed to blur around them as they fought, their movements a whirlwind of power and precision. Lin felt his muscles burning, his breath coming in ragged gasps. But he refused to back down, channeling all his focus into anticipating Hansu's next move.
With a final, desperate surge, Lin executed a perfect spinning heel kick, aiming for Hansu's temple. Hansu, caught off guard by the speed and precision of the attack, barely managed to deflect the blow. The force of the impact sent him skidding across the floor.
Both fighters stood, panting heavily, sweat dripping from their bodies. Hansu raised a hand, signaling the end of the match.
"Enough," he said, breathing hard. "You've proven yourself, Lin. You're no longer my student. From this day forward, you're a master in your own right."
Lin bowed deeply, respect and gratitude shining in his eyes. "Thank you, Master Hansu. I will honor everything you've taught me."
Hansu nodded, a proud smile spreading across his face. "You've earned it. Now go, and make your mark on the world."
Before Lin left the dojo, Hansu shouted, "Oi! You might not be my student anymore, but if you don't visit me at least once every two months, I'll beat you up!"
Lin smiled at that, turning to give a nod of acknowledgment. "I wouldn't dream of staying away, Master Hansu."
