As the days passed, Aadhya’s physical health gradually improved, but her mental state continued to deteriorate. She was plagued by depression and insecurities, desperately trying to change herself to gain Agastya’s affection. She tried new makeup techniques, mimicking the glamorous women she thought he admired, but nothing seemed to work. At the end of each day, she was still just herself, feeling more lost and insignificant.

**At Home**

Determined to make a difference, Aadhya decided to cook Agastya’s favorite comforting food. She knew he had been working hard, and she hoped this small gesture might bridge the growing gap between them.

Aadhya (to herself): "Maybe this will remind him of the times we were happy together."

After spending the morning preparing the meal, she packed the lunch and asked the driver to take her to Agastya’s office. She missed him and wanted to surprise him with this act of love.

**At Agastya’s Office**

Aadhya stepped out of the car, feeling a mixture of anxiety and hope. The office building loomed large and imposing, a stark contrast to her fragile state. She walked inside and approached the receptionist.

Aadhya: "Hi, I’m here to see Agastya. Could you tell me where his cabin is?"

Receptionist: "He’s busy at the moment, but you can wait in the lobby."

Aadhya (smiling politely): "He won’t mind. I’m his wife."

The receptionist gave her directions, and Aadhya thanked her before heading to the elevator. As she ascended to his floor, her heart pounded with a mixture of excitement and apprehension.

Reaching his cabin, she heard laughter echoing from within. She sighed and opened the door, only to find Agastya laughing with Aisha. The sight of them together, so carefree and happy, was like a knife to her heart. She quickly closed the door before they noticed her, tears welling up in her eyes.

Aadhya (thinking): "It’s been months since we laughed together. Months since he even looked at me like that."

Her vision blurred with tears, she turned and walked away from his cabin, not knowing where she was going but needing to escape. Memories of happier times flooded her mind—moments of laughter, dancing, and shared dreams. She felt her body weaken, and as she stumbled, she was caught by a strong pair of arms.

Aarav had been walking towards Agastya’s cabin when he saw Aadhya. His heart fluttered at the sight of her, fragile and beautiful. When she stumbled, he instinctively reached out to steady her.

Aarav (softly): "Are you okay?"

Aadhya (whispering): "I’m sorry."

Her voice was filled with pain, and Aarav’s heart ached for her. He could see she was far from okay, but he didn’t want to pressure her.

Aarav: "It’s alright. Take care."

He watched as she walked away, a silent resolve forming in his mind. He wanted to be there for her, to care for her in a way Agastya never did. He knew he could make her his, but he didn’t want to scare her with his intensity.

Aarav (thinking): "One day, Aadhya. One day, I’ll show you  that you truly deserve better"

**Back at Home**

Aadhya returned home, heartbroken and exhausted. She had wanted so much to share the comforting meal with Agastya, but he was too busy with Aisha. She wondered how often he spent time with her, the thought deepening her despair.

Aadhya (thinking): "Why am I never enough? Why can’t he see the love I have for him?"

She sat down, her eyes filling with tears again. The loneliness was suffocating, and she felt more isolated than ever. The comforting food she had prepared now seemed like a cruel reminder of her futile efforts.

As night fell, Aadhya lay in bed, the shadows of her heartache surrounding her. She tried to hold on to the hope that things might change, but the weight of her sadness was overwhelming. Agastya’s words and actions played over in her mind, each one a reminder of how far apart they had grown.

**The Next Day**

Aadhya woke up feeling more determined. She couldn’t give up, not yet. She had to keep trying, for the sake of the love she still held for Agastya. She decided to focus on small steps, starting with finding a way to connect with him again.

Aadhya (thinking): "I have to believe that things can get better. I have to keep trying."

But deep down, she knew that the shadows of her heartache were growing darker, threatening to consume her completely.
