The silence in Shelter B06-32 was almost deafening. Emma carefully stepped through the dimly lit corridors, her eyes adjusting to the darkness. Ray was close behind, his hand resting on the hilt of a makeshift knife. The others followed in a tight formation, their faces etched with exhaustion. They had finally reached the shelter, a promised haven from the horrors of their past. But the unsettling feeling in the pit of Emma's stomach told her that their journey was far from over.
"Do you hear that?" Ray whispered, his eyes narrowing as he scanned the shadows.
Emma nodded, her heart racing. Faint murmurs and the sound of footsteps echoed through the hall. They weren't alone. She gestured for the others to stay close and moved cautiously forward, every sense on high alert.
Inside, Y/N was sitting with Eli, discussing the best way to ration their supplies for the upcoming week.
"I think if we stretch it, we can make it last a bit longer," Eli suggested, his voice low but steady."You're right," Y/N agreed, nodding thoughtfully. "It's better to be cautious."
Across the room, Max was tinkering with a gun, his hands steady and sure as he made adjustments to its mechanism. Lila sat beside him, her small frame leaning in to watch intently. She chattered away about the different flowers she had seen outside earlier that day, her voice a comforting background hum. Max listened quietly, occasionally nodding but mostly focused on his task, the metal parts clicking softly under his fingers.
Emma and Ray moved closer, the tension palpable in the air. Just as Emma took another step, her foot made a faint creak on the floorboard. The sound seemed to echo loudly in the stillness, and the quiet conversation inside the room halted abruptly.
Y/N's head snapped up, her eyes wide with alarm. Eli stood quickly, motioning for Max and Lila to be quiet. Max's hands stilled on the gun, and Lila's stream of words cut off mid-sentence. They all listened intently, the silence now heavy with suspense.
Emma's mind raced. They had come all this way, survived so much, only to face another unknown threat. She exchanged a tense glance with Ray, who tightened his grip on the makeshift knife. They had to be ready for anything. The moments stretched on, each second feeling like an eternity. Finally, with a deep breath, Emma decided it was time to confront whatever lay ahead. She motioned for Ray to follow her lead, and together, they stepped into the room.Inside, the two groups faced each other, eyes wide with surprise.
I'm not sure if anyone's gonna read it cuz for me the TPN fandom is almost dead.
So there are some OC's, and i'll make a chapter for their introduction
Eli, Max and Lila aren't the only OC that will be there, but the rest will be in the next chapter.
Also i didn't decided yet if it's an xReader, cuz i'm really bad at writing romance
I don't know what to say more so... Good reading?
