I kept running even though I could feel my legs giving away under me. I had to get to the CBL headquarters before him or I'd never be able to forgive myself.I had to save my wife and baby. I had to get them out of here before it was too late.
Once I got here I took a second to catch my breath. I had to be quick since I didn’t know where she was being held but he knew. I quickly entered the building and started looking for her. It took me over 20 minutes and I had already searched 5 floors of the building but…..I found her tied up with metal chains blood flowing down her legs. She was unconscious. I immediately rushed over and started looking for things to break the chains. Luckily I found a rock. I started to break it. After about 5-6 minutes her limp body fell in my hands. I hurriedly picked her up in bridal style and quickly ran out of the building and started heading for the hospital.
TIME SKIP 2 hours
AT THE HOSPITAL
The doctor stepped out of the room and I immediately stood up
‘Are they okay doctor? ‘I asked worried
The doctor looked at me and said’ we lost your wife. I am sorry for your loss ’
As soon as that sentence came out of his mouth I felt like my world had ended. I wanted to die. I felt like a failure.
But I kept myself from crying and asked in a shaky voice ‘what about the baby?'
