Camp Cretaceous | | The 7 lost and forgotten kids

Chapter 1: Trip to Nublar and to the camp!

While on a second ferry to the island, the last kid Sydney woodlocke, was looking over the railing, contemplating if he could fit in with the other campers, being an only child, he has never experienced any other social interaction aside from family and friends, but outside that, he has nothing.

After the ferry docked and left, he was now on nublar, the island where jurassic world was built, he waited on the peer for dave and roxie to pick him up, after a while waiting, a car pulled up and came out was roxie, she waved sydney to come over, and he did, and both got in the car.

The drive to the camp was awkward, roxie tried making small talk but sydney didn't respond, roxie asked "so, you're the last camper to get here right?", sydney just nodded, "where are you from?" roxie asked, "from brisbane..." sydney replied, "Australia eh?, you came all the way from australia to puerto rico then nublar, gee, no wonder why you were late" roxie chuckled, sydney chuckled a bit too and was just looking out the window, "well im sure you'll make new friends" roxie re-assure sydney.

After arriving to the camp, roxie and sydney got out of the car, roxie walked to one of the treetop camps and called down an elevator, sydney looked around at the sight, seeing trees that towered high, like boabab trees mixed with redwood with how tall they were, as the elevator arrived, roxie calles for sydney, sydney ran to roxie and both got into the elevator and went up, the elevator ride was awkward as well. but after they arrived up the top, they got out, dave and the rest of the campers were waiting, Sydney waved anxiously and just stood there like 🧍, roxie introduced sydney to the rest of the campers "everyone, this is sydney woodlocke, he is the 7th camper along with you 6, sydney, introduce yourself to everyone.", sydney nodded, "h-hi...im sydney. im 14, and im from brisbane australia...", everyone said hi. and dave role called everyone, "okay, so ben, darius, sammy, yasmina, kenji, brooklyn and sydney,  everyone here?", the 7 of us nodded. "okay, there are a set of activities for tommorow, for now, you can make yourselves feel at home", there were chatter after he said that, and dave and roxie left for some emergency a while after, everyone was chatting with each other, sydney was staring out on the balcony, watching the sun set.

It was now nightime, everyone was still chatting, but sydney was gone, he was nowhere to be seen, darius asked kenji, "hey kenji, have you seen the new kid, he was just watching the sunset on the balcony a while ago, now hes just gone", kenji shook his head, "hes probably just somewhere in here, i bet that kid is too scared to be even go outside", after he said that, they heard...laughter?, they all went to check what was, or who was laughing, they looked over the balcony and saw sydney, playing with a dinosaur!?, darius shouted, "Sydney!, what are you doing!?", sydney looked up, "...uhh...just down here!" he shouted back, brooklyn chimed in "down there with a dinosaur, are you crazy!?", sydney looked at the dinosaur, it was an archeopteryx, "oh him?, don't worry he don't bite" and the little dino on the ground climped up sydney and perched on his shoulder, "wait, what is that dinosaur anyway" darius shouted, now interested, "i'll get up there in a bit". after a while, the elevator dinged and came out sydney, ,the group ran towards sydney but kept a fair distance.

Sydney scratched under the chin of the dino on his shoulder, "meet hashimoto" sydney spoke. the dino chirped and looked at the group, "is that an archeopteryx?" darius asked, "yeah it is, one of my trained dinos on the island, only reason i kept a low profile was to deter any suspicion of being associated with rich or any connections with the island.
