Jake's day had started in a big rush. The sun barely peeked over as he and the rest of ENHYPEN were whisked from one appointment to the next.

Interviews, rehearsals, and promotional events filled their schedule, each one demanding their full attention and energy.

For Jake, the commanding pace was both exhilarating and exhausting, a constant whirlwind of activity and pressure.

He was kind of used to the hectic schedules that came with being part of a top idol group, but today, something felt different.

His body was starting to rebel against the relentless demands.

He’d been feeling unusually fatigued, and though he tried to push through it, he couldn't ignore the growing discomfort.

Amidst the chaos, Jake was so focused on staying on top of things that he completely forgot to check his insulin levels or administer his insulin shots.

It was a crucial part of managing his diabetes, one that he knew he couldn’t afford to neglect.

Yet, with every new task and engagement, the thought of his health slipped further from his mind.

With all the activities they have been up to and non-existent breaks, it wasn't surprising that it slipped his mind.

The day had been particularly packed, and as the final rehearsal wrapped up, Jake was barely holding it together.

His energy was flagging, and he noticed his vision starting to blur. He rubbed his eyes, trying to clear the haze, but the sensation only worsened. His legs felt weak, and he stumbled slightly, trying to mask his discomfort.

“Are you okay, Jake?” Sunghoon’s voice broke through his foggy state.

The concern in his tone was evident. Sunghoon, ever perceptive, had noticed that Jake wasn’t quite being himself today.

“I’m fine,” Jake managed to say, though his voice was uneven. He took a deep breath, trying to steady himself, but his condition was deteriorating faster than he realized.

His hands began to tremble uncontrollably, and a cold sweat started to bead on his forehead.

Before he could respond further, the room seemed to tilt, and he began to see black spots before his vision darkened.

He felt his legs give way, and the next thing he knew, he was collapsing to the floor. The sudden fall caused a commotion, and the concerned cries of his bandmates filled the room.

“Jake!” Sunghoon’s voice was now laced with panic. “Someone call for help! We need medical assistance now!”

The urgency in Sunghoon’s voice snapped the rest of the members into action.

Sunoo quickly retrieved Jake’s emergency kit from his bag, but his hands were shaking as he fumbled with it.

He knew there were glucose tablets in the kit, but Jake was barely responsive, and Sunoo’s heart pounded with anxiety.

“Jake, please wake up!” Sunoo pleaded, trying to get Jake to take the tablets.

He gently placed them near Jake’s lips, hoping he could still manage to chew. But Jake’s movements were sluggish, and his responses were almost nonexistent.

Minutes felt like hours as the paramedics arrived. They quickly assessed Jake’s condition, noting the signs of severe hypoglycemia.

They administered the necessary treatment, including glucose injections, to stabilize his blood sugar levels.

As Jake lay there, barely conscious, the reality of the situation began to sink in for the rest of the members.

They watched with a mix of fear and helplessness as the medical professionals worked to stabilize their friend.

The once vibrant and energetic Jake was now pale and unresponsive, a sight that tore at their hearts.

Eventually, the paramedics managed to stabilize Jake enough to transport him to the hospital.

The members followed in a flurry of anxious anticipation, their thoughts filled with worry about their friend’s well-being.

At the hospital, Jake was admitted for observation. The medical staff continued to monitor him closely, ensuring that his blood sugar levels remained stable.

The members were left in the waiting room, their worry palpable.

Sunghoon paced back and forth, his expression a mixture of guilt and concern.

"I should have noticed sooner,” he muttered, more to himself than anyone else. “This is all my fault. I should have kept a closer eye on him.”

“No, it’s not your fault,” Sunoo said, trying to offer some comfort. “We were all caught up in the chaos. We need to focus on Jake right now.”

Hours felt like days as they waited for any news. Each minute that ticked by seemed to stretch on endlessly.

Finally, a doctor emerged from Jake’s room, offering a reassuring smile.

“He’s stable now,” the doctor said. “We’ve managed to get his blood sugar levels back to normal. He’s awake and resting. You can visit him briefly if you’d like.”

The members rushed to Jake’s room, their faces a mix of relief and exhaustion.

Jake lay in the hospital bed, looking pale but more alert than before. When he saw his friends, a faint, grateful smile crossed his face.

“Hey,” Jake said weakly. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to…”

Sunghoon was the first to speak, his voice trembling. “Don’t apologize, Jake. We should have been more aware. We were all caught up in the schedule and didn’t notice how you were feeling.”

“Yeah,” Sunoo added. “We’re just glad you’re okay. That’s what matters most.”

Jake nodded, feeling a mix of relief and embarrassment. “I’ll be more careful from now on. I promise. I didn’t realize how badly I’d neglected my health today.”

The members stayed with him throughout the night, offering their support and comfort.

They took turns sitting by his bedside, talking to him, and making sure he felt cared for.

The experience had been a harsh reminder of the pressures they faced and the importance of looking out for one another.

As the days passed and Jake recovered, he became more vigilant about managing his diabetes.

The incident had been a wake-up call, and he knew he needed to prioritize his health even amidst the chaos of their schedules.

The support from his bandmates was unwavering. They made adjustments to their routines to ensure that Jake’s health came first.

They also learned to recognize the signs of his condition, taking proactive steps to prevent another incident.

The bond between them grew stronger as they navigated through the aftermath of the scare.

For Jake, the experience was a reminder of both his vulnerability and the incredible support system he had in his bandmates.

He knew that, despite the challenges they faced, they would always be there for him, ready to support him through thick and thin.
