The ride to the restaurant was smooth for Fatima, she barely said anything because she was still filling him out and honestly didn't want to make her expectations too high! When they arrived at the restaurant, he helped her out and they walked in! Everything was decorated nicely, and the music wasn't bad at all! He pulled her seat out and helped her sit before going on the other side of the table and taking his seat!
Clayton, "You look lovely tonight!"
Fatima, "Well thank you, you don't look bad yourself!"
Clayton, "I try to dress according to the woman on my arm!"
Fatima, "Well don't change your appearance for me! I like a man who is confident in who he is!"
Clayton, "I am confident! I just like to match your fly if you know what I mean!"
Fatima, "Boy stop! Most of the time you see me, I'm in scrubs and a white coat! You're smooth but not as smooth as you presume!"
Clayton chuckled, "I'm real smooth and you can put on a bag of chips and still make it look good! Don't count yourself out now!"
Fatima, "Actually I'm not but I am counting you out!"
Clayton, "Don't count me out just yet! I'm a many of mystery!"
Fatima, "Yeah you're a mystery alright!"
The waitress came out and took their order! Fatima was enjoying the vibes but she just didn't know how much she was enjoying the date just yet! Clayton was definitely charming and a catch but he was going to have to stay in the friend zone for a little while longer!
The food came out and they started eating!
Fatima, "So tell me more about yourself?"
Clayton, "Well I'm an only child! I dabbled in stocks and bonds at the beginning of my career! I hit big and then I startled slowly building my empire up from there! Tell me about you?"
Fatima, "Well I've always been intrigued by sports medicine! It was something about it plus I used to play basketball so naturally I knew I wanted to go into that field! When I went to college I took all my core classes first and then I decided on my major! Once it was set in stone, everything started building from there!"
Clayton, "I know a boss when I see one!"
Fatima, "You better recognize it but No I like to work hand and hand with all my colleagues! I don't like for them to see me as the boss because we all work together as a team! We share equal responsibility within our center and there is a thin line between Being a boss and learning how to actively be an employee as well! I found balance in what I do! I don't sit behind my desk all day! I engage with the patients and even do training! It's in me, not on me!"
Clayton, "Well maybe I need to take your advice because I find myself disassociated with my staff!"
Fatima, "Maybe you need to because that just means you sit on a pestle and no one wants to work for someone like that!"
Clayton was about to say something but he noticed the expression on Fatima's face change, he looked toward the TV and soon realized why!
