Violet has always been invisible at school. She just wants to finish school and forget everything and everyone here. So what happens when she's in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Last night was ehh. I know I woke up with a banging headache. "Violet hun I know you got in late but your dad is going to be home tonight and we are throwing a party so hurry up you need to help set up." I hear mom yelling from downstairs. I look over at the time and see it's already 2pm. She normally never lets me sleep this late. Weird. I get up and take a quick shower and throw on a tank top and some leggings before heading downstairs. "Morning Ma, you look beautiful today." I say trying to distract her from my busted face. "VIOLET MARIE ROSE MCCORMICK! WHAT DID I TELL YOU! YOUR FATHER ISNT GOING TO BE HAPPY!" She yells at me. Well that didn't work. "Mom most of this is from my fight the other night and which i won and I'm fine." I tell her taking a bite of bacon she made this morning. "Still hun you really need to stop with the fight for a while. Please?" She asks putting her hand on my cheek. "I will try but it's my hobby and I like it." I say shrugging. "Just like your father." She rolls her eyes. "Hey look who I found outside." I hear Damian say as he walks in with Jess and Baxter. "Hey guys. What's up?" I ask putting a pop tart in the toaster. "Well I wanted to see if you need any help with the party tonight." Jess says sitting at the counter. I go to talk but I'm interrupted. "I know I'm going to need help moving tables and chairs Baxter if you got some more friends." My loaf of a brother says. "Yea, let me call Xzavier and William king." I shoot him a glare. Great. "Mom do you need any help?" I ask while taking my pop tarts out. "No hun your aunts and cousins will be coming over soon enough." She says walking towards the back doors. I grab Jess and head up to my room. "So...what's the deal with you and Xzavier?" Jess asks sitting on my bed. "What are you talking about?" I ask sitting at my desk. "I don't know y'all seem different around each other." She says look at me. I roll my eyes. "You're being weird." I say looking at my homework. "Can I invite Bionca over?" Jess asks looking at her phone. "Sure." I say walking into my closet trying to figure out what to wear. Knowing my dad he's gonna be in his uniform. I can't wait to see him. I wonder how long he's gonna be home for this time. "She's here!" I hear Jess yell as she bolts down stairs. The girls walk in giggling. "What are you to giggling about?" I ask walking out of the closet with an outfit. "Oh nothing..." they say at the same time. "Okay weirdos. If yall need something to wear you can pick from my closet." I say walking towards the bathroom. When I get out I see half of my closet in my bed. "I was gone for a second and a tornado hit my room." I say looking around. They just laughed. Around 4pm we were getting ready.

As we walked down the stairs to waiting on Dad the boys were staring at us. Which I understand William and Baxter seeing as Jess and Bionca are there girlfriends but why is Xzavier staring at me. I hear the girls giggle while looking between us. I just roll my eyes and walk towards the backyard. I see my family laughing and talking. I could feel the excitement as we were waiting. My mom of course was about to burst with tears of joy. I know she misses my dad most of all. The group finally made their way over to me. We all started joking around. Baxter and William were arguing about who would win in a fight between the two. I couldn't focus on anything I was to nervous and excited. I screamed as someone picked me up. I couldn't see who it was so I did the only thing I good think of. I kicked my foot into their balls. I instantly fell to the floor and I turn to see my dad bending over holding himself. "SHIT! I'm so sorry dad I didn't know it was you!" I yell hugging him. "It's okay sweetheart. Glad to see your still working out." He says hugging me back. "What happened to your face!?" He yells grabbing my face. "I got into a fight no big deal dad." Say moving out of his grasp. He goes to argue but Jess saves the day. "Hey Mr.M! These are our friends. That Baxter, my boyfriend, and his sister Bionca and her boyfriend William king and his brother Xzavier." She says and they all wave. "So good to see you Jess and Xzavier my son has told me about you." He says hugging Jess then giving Xzavier a wink. He looks just as confused as I am. What did Damian say. Everyone starts laughing around us. "Oookay.. so dad when do you leave?" I ask looking up at him. "Let's not talk about that right now hun I just got home." He says pulling me in for another hug. We all talk for a minute before mom calls him over. "So we were thinking we all go out tomorrow night since it is still the weekend." Bionca says looking at me and Xzavier. "I'm down." Xzavier says. "I don't know guys I've didn't do my fi...homework last night." I almost told them about my fight although Jess already knows. "But-.." Jess was going to argue but Xzavier spoke instead. "Don't bother Jess shes just making an excuse because she's ms.perfect." He says smirking. Okay now I don't know why but that pissed me off. "Your one to talk dipshit." I step closer to him. "You go around acting like you are so much better than everyone when in reality you are a lonely piece of shit." I say glaring at him. He comes closer to me so now he's in my face. "Watch yourself McCormick." Oh I hit a nerve. "What-." Before I can finish Baxter has pushed us apart. "Will you two chill out?" He says with a stern voice. I just walk away making my way to the kitchen. Asshole.
