The story is set in the city of Utopia , which has a fast paced lifestyle and everyone there are competing to survive and maintain a lifestyle that is a requirement to live in the society.
Anyone who doesn't meet the requirements are not directly excluded but are indirectly not involved and constantly taunted with sugar coated curses.
In thid City people are oblivious of what they are doing and are just chasing after what they are told .
If life doesn't go like expected, they tend to change rather than solving the problem as it requires time and "Time" is the most valuable part of their life .
Miami
female protagonist of the novel , doesn't believe in chasing anything without thinking of it from broader perspective and just mindlessly following what's been done through generations. She is dependent on her lover or boyfriend for finances as she didn't completed her studies yet.
They met in college, he proposed her for marriage after being in relationship for 3 years .
Now she is living with him as she don't have anyone else than him.
Vivan
Miami's boyfriend, an independent male who believes that people should work as it's going, he earns decent money to support his future lifestyle , want to be respected and reputed member of society,
They are going to marry next month.
Aditya
male protagonist , a person who is oblivious of the world outside his village and his whole life revolves around the area he live and close knit people.
He don't have much money to be called reputed and respectful in society but believes that people have their own beliefs and way of handling things.
Even though the village is an hour away from city but their lifestyle and way of thinking is completely different.
Jimmy
school friend of Miami, he is carefree and flirtatious in nature , don't give a second thought to what he does. He believes in being vocal about whatever he feel and not hide anything within.
Type of person whom everyone likes and dislikes at the same time but he don't give a damm.
