The hero stood there pleading with me, he was better than the villain, he would care for me, he could care for me. It's not like he's already sacrificed me and thought by some miracle I was brought back for him. He cupped my face yet I didn't care. I looked past him, through the slightly closed door the villain stood. I blinked and he was gone.
"Get off of me!" I shouted shoving the hero's hands from my body. My heart was pounding in my ears as I raced down the corridor, "No, nononono! Please God no!" I stumbled forward but caught myself, running full pelt towards the glass push doors. And I emerged.
The world around me burned, an impossible feat for me, but for him. No.
His body levitated down towards my figure, gracefully reaching the ground, his clad shiny shoes still without a speck.
"Ares, please!" I cried out clutching my chest. It hurt, so so much. "Stop this madness! They won't leave you alone now!" I cried harder.
"Darling." He spoke gabbing my chin. "There will be no one left." I looked up at him and my lip quivered,
"Please." He dropped my face and turned around. In that moment I remembered what he had said,
"When you see what I can do. You will understand why I was named Ares. And the reason isn't what most think." His rich laugh faded as I could clearly see his back walking away from me.
"Don't do this!" I screamed, throwing my body to him, clutching him, grounding him. My face pressed against his back and his smell assaulted me. I missed this. I missed him.
"(Y/n)!" I released Ares, the hero now emerged as well from the doors, "Step back! He's dangerous!" His eyes widened as he fully registered the chaos outside. I finally heard it. All of the screaming.
"Go away (hero name)!" I turned to (-11$>{n @:+•|), my eyes going wide, head throbbing, "I- I can't remember your name." Tears fell down my face more.
"Don't worry dear." His thumb encased in black leather gloves wiped away a tear falling down my cheek, gloves I gifted him. Did I though? "This is all my doing. This... is all...just... a dream." He kissed me lovingly, but I had a dreadful feeling that if I closed my eyes, I would open them and he would be gone. One of his hands covered my eyes, swiping them closed. My hands flew out to grab him, hold him to me but they meet nothing. My eyes flew open and I was sitting up in a hospital bed.
I clutched my chest, "That dream again." Tears flooded down my face, "Who is he? I can never remember anything about him."
"Bad dream again darling?" I looked towards the door of my hospital room, my heart hammering. "Uh... yeah." I smiled weakly. He walked in and his thumb brushed away a straying tear of mine. "Don't worry dear, I'm here." His all knowing smile didn't quite reach his eyes, yet it was enough to be contagious. I smiled back at him truly this time, but had to ask,
"What's your name again." His finger stopped moving but only for a split second,
"Ares darling, Ares."

Ok! I didn't want to do spoilers so I'll talk a little more now that you've read it all . :) I mean if it's read at all... ANYWAY so I love Greek mythology I think that's what it's called, I also love Egyptian mythology but this is Greek so irrelevant! NEXT! I know close to nothing about the actual history I just love the Gods. I was writing and unsure about a name whether I left it to you or gave him one, then I named him Ares then accidentally started including stuff about him actually being the God and not just a villain named him. Or something like that it just worked that way in my head.
So I wrote the narrator at the end, it was ✨me✨ of course. And I just wanted to say if you actually know stuff about Greek mythology don't come at me, it's just a vuage thing I wrote and threaded in there. But enough ranting about not wanting any hate.
I wanted to say I might continue the other stories but it's completely up to inspiration and what I feel like. Or who I'm obsessed with at the moment. HEHEHEH HAHAHAHAH *Ahem*
I hope you enjoyed reading this! Bye byeeeee!

Forever.
RomanceThis is a story I had a daydream about listening to 'LET THE WORLD BURN - Sped up ' by Chris Grey. I couldn't help myself and began to write and I think it was pretty good to post. 😄 It's all in one chapter but it's not insanely long, just right in...
