Goofy rings the door bell as one of the butlers that work for roxxanes parents open the door and let them inside as goofy and max get inside they're greeted by roxxanes parents
Goofy: "it's so nice seeing you! You guys look great how've you been?"
Roxxanes mom: "oh everythings been alright" she looks at roxxanes father "smile dear"
Roxxanes father forces himself to smile
Roxxanes mother: "well uh we'll be rehearsing in here"
Roxxanes mother starts to walker over to a room with goofy and roxxanes father following while max stays behind and looks at a piano they have he sat down and started playing it while he was playing it roxxane was brushing her hair and then hears the piano she gets up from her vanity and walks down stairs to where the piano is as well as max she smiles softly and walks over to him and stops once she gets next to him once he notices her he stops and stands up quickly knocking over the chair for the piano and he picks it back up
Max: "sorry- sorry!-"
Roxxane laughs and tucks her hair behind her ear before putting her hand behind her back
Roxxane: "good to know you haven't changed much" *she tilts her head to the side slightly "you play beautifully"
Max: "thanks sorry again-"
Roxxane: "mom still won't let me near the piano she still thinks it's improper for young lady"
Max: "hey wait aren't you supposed to have a chaperone or something?"
Roxxane shrugs before walking a bit closer to max
Roxxane: "it's not like I actually need one right now I'm in my own house"
Max laughs before turning red from embarrassment he wasn't ever a big fan of his laugh even tho he personally fit his dad perfectly he just didn't think it fit himself 'ah-hyuck' just wasn't exactly what he wouldve chosen if he had gotten to choose his laugh
Max: "fair enough oh um by the way should I get changed? I brought a suit just in case"
Roxxane nods before putting a hand on her hip and just resting her other arm at her side
Roxxane: "yeah that'd probably be a good idea you know where the bathrooms are"
Max: he nods "ok good to know"
Roxxane: "it's crazy that we'll be married by tomorrow right?"
Max: "yeah it is"
Roxxane sits down Infront of the piano
Roxxane: "maybe when we officially get married you can teach me how to play the piano"
Max sits down next to her
Max: "yeah I'd be up for that"
They smile at eachother as roxxanes mother walks into the room seeing them
Roxxanes mother: "what is this? You shouldn't be alone together! We have 5 minutes until rehearsal and one of you aren't even dressed! The pastor is waiting hurry up!"
Roxxanes mother walks back into the room as max and roxxane laughs akwardly before max grabs his bag and goes to the bathroom to get changed while roxxane follows soon after her mother to the room for rehearsal once Max got dressed he walks to the room and they start the rehearsal
★ -Three Hours Later-★
Pastor: "from the beginning again "with this hand I'll lift your sorrows your cup will never empty for I will be your wine with this candle I'll light your way through darkness with this ring I ask you to be mine" now let's try it again"
Max: "yes sir"
Max lifts the candle he was holding into the air
Max: "with this candle" he tried to light the candle on fire but fails "uh with this candle" he tries again but fails once again "this candle..." He looks around akwardly before finally lightning the candle "with this candle"
Max lifts the candle up again and it goes out with roxxanes parents sighing and Roxanne walks over to him lighting his candle with hers
Pastor: "continue!"
As soon as the pastor says that the doorbell rings and roxxanes parent send off their butler to answer the door
Pastor: "let's just pick it up at the candle bit"
As the pastor says the the butler comes back and goes to roxxanes mother
Butler: "a lord Markus"
Roxxanes mother: "I don't know any lord Marcus...do you?"
She looks at roxxanes father and he just shrugs she then looks backs the butler and shrugs and Marcus then walks in
Marcus: "apparently I'm a day earlier I apologize"
Roxxanes mother: "it's fine please do sit"
Marcus sits down as they start rehearsals again
Pastor: "let's start again"
max holds the candle in the wrong hand and raises his wrong hand which causes the pastor to correct him
Pastor: "right"
Max: "right"
Max then realizes what he means and switches his hands
Max: "oh right!" He raises his left hand holding the candle in his right "with this...this uh"
The pastor rolls his eyes and groans annoyed
Pastor: "hand..."
Max: "with this hand"
He takes roxxanes hand
Max: "ill-"
He steps forward 3 times with her but I guess his took to big of steps because he bumps into the table Infront of him causing himself to cut himself off while saying "I'll" and the pastor starts to yell at him
Pastor: "3 steps it's 3 steps! Can you not count?!"
Roxxane puts a hand Infront of her mouth in shock while max just stares akwardly
Pastor: "do you not wish to get married?!"
Max: "no no!-"
Roxxane: "you don't?"
Max: "no that's not what I meant I meant that I do wish to get married not to not get married-"
The pastor his hair head while hes talking and he holds his head
Max: "ow-"
Pastor: "pay attention max! Did you even bring the rings?!"
Max: "oh right yeah I got them"
Max grabs the rings from his pocket and holds it up before it slips out his hand
Pastor: "dropping the ring! This boy does not wish to get married!!!"
Max trys to get the ring while everyone else starts talking except for max,goofy and roxxane and the ring lands right next to roxxanes moms dress so when he grabs it he accidentally sets her dress on fire which causes more chaos and roxxanes father starts trying to stomp out the fire while everyone panics and the pastor groans annoyed again before Marcus pours wine onto the fire putting it out as he does that the pastor walks past everyone
Pastor: "enough! We can not do this wedding until this boy is properly prepared!"
The pastor looks at max
Pastor: "young man learn your vows"
Max just kinda backs up and leaves
