I loved her from afar
While she waits for the brightest star
Her sun.
She's mine to see
But not to keep.
She shine beautifully because of him
Something that i am not capable of doing.
Perigee,
that's when she's the closest to me
But no matter how close she is
She will always be his.
The light in her darkest nights
The life in her happiest times.
We're so near with each other,
Yet so far.
We've been together since time immemorial
I've been nothing but faithful and loyal.
Even when he's burnt me, leaving deep scars.
She is my moon
The only one.
But i am not her sun
I am not even her star
I'm only the planet that would live in the dark
Without her,
my moon from afar.
Till our next eclipse? Scratch that.
Till your next eclipse with your Sol, my Luna.
