Chrystalanthia is the most beautiful star in the night sky. I leave my home behind to protect my true queen, Queen Starleen. The farewell festival was the brightest I had seen in many years. Starleen even wore a color other than black, she wore bright blue. I thought she looked rather beautiful in the blue.
My shooting star shot past Ternia, the planet that houses the gorgeous three queens, Theodora, Coligny, and Bridgetalyn. Their father, Cassian, was the best king of his time and gave Ternia's land to his daughter before he passed.
Theodora getting the coastal land, Coligny getting the dark whimsical forests, and Bridgetalyn getting the golden, flowy fields.
There had been rumored there to be a conflict here in Ternia, and Queen Starleen issued her military order to take base here to prevent any backlash from going to Chrystalanthia.
...
The Queen made arrangements for us to stay in Thalassia and Solandra while we awaited the chaos to settle. But before I could relax, I had to meet the family I'd be staying with.
A man dressed in a freshly ironed suit opened the boat door and motioned us to the canopy that was the only shaded spot.
"I'm King Orion Everheart, of the Southern Hemisphere. Welcome to Thalassia." He smiled and shook my hand with more grace than I'd ever have.
I let go of his hand and let my eyes wander of the soft sand and salty taste that lingered in the air from the coastal sea. Turning my attention back to him, I gave the same respect that I greet my Queen with. "Evander Star of Chrystalanthia."
"I will take you to meet my wife." He enunciated as if I was a threat.
My body followed him but my mind was still wandering.
Orion led us into the ballroom that had a glass fountain in the center, the air smelled of nothing other than salt. It made me think that the fountain had salt water and not freshwater. "Meet Theodora Blaire, the love of my life." He smiled and kissed the top of her head. "And these two lovelies are my children, Lucian and Seraphina. They're twins." Orion walked across back to his beautiful wife. Theodora wore a long sleeved purple velvet dress. Based on what I had learned growing up, she loves purple and velvet.
Theodora took my hand in one of her gloved ones, "it's so lovely to meet you. Starleen told me that you're one of their finest warriors. I sure hope you show my kingdom the same dedication."
"I will treat your kingdom with all due respect, you're majesty." I kissed the top of her hand.
She blushed, pulling her hand from mine she settled herself in the arms of Orion Everhart. "I do hope that being separated from part of your crew doesn't bother you. We have the Elarian Army coming as well. You do know of the Elarian Army don't you?"
"I do, I've been there on a few family trips when I was just a child. It's a beautiful Kingdom, Elaria is."
"Have you met Queen Susan? I hear she's pregnant with her second." Theodora gently tugged on the glass that Orion had gotten from a server.
He let go on the glass, clearing his throat. "What did she ever name the first?" He questioned, though I highly doubted that he didn't know.
They both looked at me with doll-like eyes. "I think she named the baby Earalyn Raelle, after Queen Erialee of Pandora.."
"Erialee died for a good cause, she loved her kingdom. Sebastian makes a fine king of Pandora, I think." Theodora sucked down the familiar liquid in her glass. Moondust - Made in Chrystalanthia.
Orion filled the glass with a second serving of the bubbling juice. "At least the child has a father, Earalyn didn't have one."
"Leave the poor alone!" She chuckled, her pearly whites glistened.
I sighed internally, and when someone pulled me to the center, I waved goodbye and didn't look back. Because now, there was a chance I'd have to see Elaria's heir and her magical warriors.
