Chapter 10: Fiancé?

Hey guys! As you may or may not know, I am a Nalu shipper, but I don't hate Nali.Of course, that won't affect my story. The end of my story will be depending on which ship gets the most votes in the comments.

Also, if you want an anime to watch, I recommend the anime called, Plastic Memories. It's really sad, and it made me cry six times.

Lucy's P.O.V.

It's only been a few days, but I feel like I've known Natsu forever. I'm sure the feeling is mutual, based on how he acts around me. Natsu is incredibly similar to a cheeky, annoying, but caring and sweet, 8 year old.

Let's just say that he is unique, but I still like him anyways. He did give me Plue, and that was really sweet of him.

Sometimes I wonder if Natsu really is a child in a grown man's body.

"cy...ucy...Lucy!" I flinch as Levy's little fist slams down on the table. "Are you even listening to me, Lucy?" She demands crossing her arms and looking at me with a pout.

"Y-yeah L-Levy, of course. Why would I ignore you?" I hate it when I stutter. It gives me away, and right now I don't want to face Levy's wrath. She may look innocent, but I can tell you from experience that she can be Satan when she wants to.

Levy doesn't answer. Instead, she narrows her eyes and stares at me with a look of annoyance crossing her features.

Levy's stare is so piercing, it's like she can see through my soul. I shudder at the thought. Who would want that to happen to them?

I look away and start to stand up. I hear Levy let out a sigh before she reaches out and grabs my wrist.

"Is something bothering you, Lucy?" She looks at me, her eyes filled with concern.

I shake my head. "I'm fine, Levy. I just spaced out, I promise." I gently pull Levy's hand off my wrist and scoop up Plue. He barks at me and wiggles in my arms. As he starts to lick my face, Levy smirks.

"Fine then, Lucy. Have fun with Natsu!" She teases as I start to blush.

"It's not like that!" I yell trying to hide my embarrassment. I bury my face into Plue's snow, white fur and try to ignore Levy's voice.

"Whatever you say!" Levy giggles and rolls around on the couch, clutching her stomach as her giggles slowly turn into laughter.

"Have fun with Gajeel then!" I wink and giggle slightly when she stops rolling, and her face turns a thousand shades of red.

Levy has only been Gajeel's nurse for a week, but she already likes him. I find it really adorable when they argue like an old married couple.

I shake my head and turn away as I begin walking over to the the living area. Let's see what Natsu has in store for me today.

I gently open the door, wincing when the door lets out a loud creaking noise.

I knew that Natsu would still be sleeping at this time, so I decide to wait until he wakes up.

I am pulling out a chair to sit in, when I hear Natsu mutter something quietly.

"Lisanna....I miss you," Natsu says drowsily. He rolls over and grabs hold of the extra pillow, clutching it tightly to his chest.

Lisanna? Is that his wife or something? I mean, he does have a ring on his left hand...

I put a head on my hands, resting it there while I attempt to figure this all out.

"You know what, I'll wait until Natsu wakes up. I'll ask him then." Oh god. Did I just say that out loud? I hope that won't wake him up.

I look up to see Natsu staring at me with his deep, onyx eyes. I let out a squeak of surprise and fall off my chair, only to end up in a sprawled position.

I hastily stand up, hurrying to brush the dirt off my white skirt.

"Ask me what, Luce?" Natsu asks while looking at me in amusement.

"Oh, um. Who is Lisanna?" I ask. I lace my fingers together and put them behind my back as I wait for Natsu to answer my question.

Natsu's eyes light up and he grins as he hears Lisanna's name.

"She's my fiancé! I proposed to her the day before I got drafted." Natsu blushes and looks down at the ring on his left hand.

"Oh," That was all I could manage to say. "You must miss her a lot."

"Yeah, I do." He replies softly.

"Well. You know you can Skype with her, right? I have an IPad that you can use." I respond.

"Really? You would do that for me?" Natsu perks up, happiness replacing the look sadness that was previously there.

"Anytime." I turn away and shuffle through my bag, looking for my IPad.

"Found it!" I hand the device to Natsu, and go over to sit on the bed.

"Okay. I'm going to call her right now." He says, his index finger pressing the call button.
