NAORI SUKI's pov
THE ACTIVITIES HAS just ended, we were given a few more minutes to explore around and to get used to our surroundings. I took that opportunity just to do that.
The cold breeze of the air hit my body as I walked on the path that was made when this camping area was made. It was more likely a hiking trail as we were near the mountains.
The leaves rustled as I stepped on them, the night sky was too good to be true. The full moon shone brightly at my eyes as I looked at it.
The lanterns that hung on the trees, had a few fireflies lying around it. The sounds of the crickets and the birds chirping was the only thing heard while I walked.
If only I could go camping everyday, I would definitely go out as much as i want to. From behind, I heard a few leaves crunching, making me aware that someone was with me.
I turned around, just to see someone I didn't expect to be there. Yes, it was Jungwon. The WON(one) that makes my heart go boom boom boom.
My breath hitched just slightly as I saw him smile under the moonlight. His catlike eyes landing on mine. "Hi suki!" He said, in a cheerful tone.
He walked towards me before stopping a few inches away from me. It was too close for me. "Hi!.. Jungwon" my voice seemed hesitant, and his look showed me that he knew I was nervous.
"Hey! I'm not a wild tiger, I'm not gonna bite" he joked a little, walking beside me. I smiled sheepishly, following close infront of him.
"What are you doing out here alone?" He asked me. I glanced at him before answering. "Just exploring and appreciating nature. You know its not an everyday thing to see this".
From the corner of my eyes, I saw him smile and nod. He truly is a great listener. He knows how to give full attention to someone when they are talking.
And that's one reason why I fell for him.
From a distance, I could here Jungwon call out to me. My gaze turned from the flowers to where he was. He was standing next to pond that had lilypads.
There was a small dock like bridge, with a few lanterns lit and placed close by it. Honestly, I think the teachers did a very good job in making the scneries look so imaginary.
It's like, students can come here and there, they would see such a great scenery to appreciate, as well as take pictures at.
"Oh my, its really pretty here" I said in awe, looking at the pond that was now infront of me. "It is, isn't it?" He replied to my comment.
The moon's reflection was seen on the pond. I could write a whole fantasy story based on this scenario. With me and Jung- nvm.
"You know what else can be this beautiful?" He asked me, I confusingly tilted my head, now curious on wanting to know.
But as soon as he opened his mouth, a heard the whistle, meaning, it was time to get into our tents. He shook his head, gesturing for me to go back to our area.
I reluctantly did as he said, bidding him a goodbye as I walked towards the way I was suppose to go. Once arriving to the tents, I thought
What was it that he was going to say?
