 Something's wrong.

His fur was all drenched from the storm. He kept blinking as droplets caught on his eyes, each time he blinked, he felt more lost and dizzy. He could still hear the screaming and chaos at the clearing, far away. They are scared, he thought, turning again and finding himself at the entrance of a silent and dark cave, he entered, looking around, still dazzled from the running. Guiding himself through the cave by a stone wall, he squeezed through a small tunnel, he wrinkled his nose as the sour smell of rotting fish filled his nostrils. Go on, you need to find her! He struggled harder and entered a small cave where a water poured from a tiny crack on the wall. Small fish danced in the pool next to his paws, remembering him when Cronos first showed him the cave... Come on! You're going to love it!... He remembered Cronos telling him these exact words as he tried to squeeze himself on the tunnel...

But that was long ago, when Cronos was only a tiny dragon...

He shook his head, trying to concentrate. Where now? he clawed his way up a tall rock which gave way to another tunnel, he relaxed a bit as smooth stone finally touched his pads, then sprang toward the tunnel, he could see a light, right there on the end... So close...

As he reached the end of the tunnel, wind buffeted him from the side, and he felt droplets start soaking his fur all over, some heartbeats later, a deafening thunder erupted in the sky, followed by lightning, everything happening, in that starless sky. He sprang to his paws, clawing the moss underneath him at each step, his muscles tensed, he jumped onto a tree, digging his claws on its bark, he jumped again and found himself at the top of the tree. He looked over the forest until he found a small clearing in the distance, he leaped off the tree and ran in its direction, as he got closer, the scent of the forest was replaced with the smell of blood.

No!

He ran faster, each heartbeat fear pulsed through him, he suddenly felt sick because of the scent of blood, but kept his gaze steady on the direction of the clearing. He stumbled and fell, he bit back a yowl of pain and tried to get up. As he got up he looked downwards to reveal a human-shaped footprint, he tensed "Victoria!" he shouted, he felt as if the sky was falling, he could hear the blood roaring in his ears, panic loomed over him, Stay strong! he pushed himself forward until he regained the forces to start running again.

'Beware the ambition of the one who fell,

Beware the one who will lead you and all to destruction,

Before the Starless Night,

Before the thank you,

The one with the power of the four moons shall rise,

While the one who lost it, shall decline.'

He continued to run as the words whirled on his mind, not focused anymore where he was going, a strong scent came to his nostrils and he froze; he looked around, a limp body of a young girl laid limp on the ground, like the fish that touched the ground and never moved again. Before he could take the next breath, his pads touched a warm,  sticky, liquid...

He looked downwards.

Blood.

A flash of a pale-blue pelt near caught his eye, but he didn't moved.

"What have you done?" the voice screamed from the nearest bushes.
