I've had a lot of influences in My life more bad than good but now that I look back through my childhood life with Christ. I always struggle remembering to pray and ask God for his help and thank him for my life.
That soon changed when one year I was at a youth camp going tubing with a church group. We where in Townsend Tennessee. Going tubing and one of the white water rapids that we floated through my tube just snatched itself out from underneath me.
I went under the water and I knew I either had to ride it out and pray I wouldn't die or swim up and hope some one would be there to grab me. I was prepared to die if God was ready
I am thankful to this day God said Daughter it is not your time! As soon as I heard him say those words a hand reached down and I was lifted up out of the water and brought to safety.
Nowadays I do my absolute best to follow and trust in God when I am weak. Instead of trying to make it my own.
