After we dropped Robin off me and Steve started making our way to Family Video. This time it was my turn to finish my makeup. I was carefully placing mascara so i didnt smudge it.

"Who did you look at?" I looked over at my brother. "I'm sorry, what?" I raised my eyebrow at him. "You were looking at someone when you were switching to sit next to me. Who was it?"

"Why...?" It was weird for him to act this way. Sure he was my brother but he never asked me things like this. "It's just...i mean-it seemed that you were looking over at The Freak"

I continued working on my eyelashes. "You mean Eddie?" I finished with one of my lashes and looked at him. "Oh, so you're calling him by his first name?" I scoff and roll my eyes. "I just glanced at him. That's all. It's not like me and him are friends."

"I'd expect you not to be. He's weird." I looked back at the mirror. "Just because he's a freak?" I asked him not taking my eyes off of my lashes.

He looked at me and rolled his eyes and I acted as if i didn't see it. "No, he's just weird in general" I look at him. "Yeah whatever you say. I just find these little titles in Hawkins to be rather stupid."

I shake my head and looked back at the mirror to make sure my makeup looked good. "So you find our titles stupid?" I start applying some blush. "Well yeah. I mean what the hell is 'The Perfect Golden Siblings of Hawkins' Just because we're twins? And I mean you sort of lost that reputation a while back. You're sort of just known for your hair." My lap was filled with makeup so I grabbed my makeup bag and start placing everything inside.

"Okay...i'm not sure if i ahould take that as an insult. Y'know what? I will." I side eye him and zip up my small bag. "I lost that title because I wanted to but you're keeping it up" I look at him and raise my eyebrow. "Well it's not like I want to."

He pulls into the parking lot to Family Video and I unlock the store then flip over the sign for it to say "Welcome! We're open!"

I walked inside and we were greeted with the cool air of the inside of the store. I moved over behind the counter and started looking through all the returned movies. "When did they return these?"

I hold up the tapes to show Steve and he shrugged. "Pretty sure they brought it in yesterday."

I hummed in response and started gathering them to be placed in their correct places. I handed some more over to him. A couple of customers came in and I walked over to them and helped them out.

After a few hours i was standing behind the counter before the phone started to ring. Me and Steve looked at each other. None of us liked to take these calls from the customers. Some of them come of as mean.

"Rock, paper, scissor, shoot!"

He held up scissors and I help up rock. "Ha!" I said leaning back onto the counter. He groaned and walked over to the phone. A few customers walked in and I walked over to them to help them out.

After a while I came back and looked at Steve who was still on the phone. "What, to hang out with you and Eddie 'The Freak' Munson? Uh, yeah I'll pass...Ew. Ugh. Whatever. Besides I mean, I really dig this girl" I grimace at his words. Who the hell could he be talking to? "I think that she could..." he shrugged and looked at me before looking back down. "Who knows maybe she could be the one" I roll my eyes and watch as some young girls walk inside. "Oh, I got some customers. I'll pass your to Jules. Bye"

He shoved the phone into my hand before going to flirt with the customer. I scoff and place the phone over my ear. "Hello?"

"Jules! Hey! Um...would you maybe want to join me for Hellfire tonight?"

"Uh...wait what's that. Isn't that the club where you play DnD?"

"Yes that! Pleaseeeeeee Lucas can't make it because of his championship game"

"I'm afraid not Henderson. I'm going to the game tonight to y'know...support your friend since you won't."

"...okay sorry about that but please. Steve'll be there you don't have to"

"No buddy. Afraid not. Oh wait! This customer's hot! I'll see you later bye!"

I hung up the phone and sighed. There was no customer. I looked up and saw Steve smirking at me. "What?"

"Seriously?" I rolled my eyes at him. "I needed to get out somehow. How'd it go with the ladies?" I raised my eyebrow at him and he sighed. "Not well." I snicker at that. "No shocker."

Once again, after a few hours we closed the store and made our way home. Robin told us she'd get a ride to her house and now we had to get ready for the game. We drove home and I ran inside and upstairs to my room.

I took a shower and then placed my bathrobe on. I walked out and changed into some jeans and a random band shirt I found in my closet. I did my makeup and hair then ran downstairs. I noticed Steve wasn't ready yet but looked at the clock. It seemed that we had about 20 minutes left.

After a while he finally came down and we made our way to the school. We had to pick up his date first. Her voice annoyed me. Once we made it to the school, we went through the gym doors. I saw Dustin with Mike and...Erica? Guess that was there replacement.

We walked into the gym and man, was it loud. The cheerleaders were up in front of the bleachers while everyone was cheering. I saw Lucas in the middle of the players and waved at him. Me, Steve, and Brenda were looking for seats in the bleachers until eventually, we found some.
